Hi im Billie im 17 and a few years back I started exploring what I was and I thought I figured nyself out as a transman but recently I have been feeling more feminine I dont know why though... Its like I like being male and being seen as male and wear tracksuits and mens clothes but then I also like looking cute and having really long hair but I dont like the (things on my chest) and I really want to go on T

I dont know what I am and I need help from someone that has maybe experienced this I cant be genderfluid because I dont feel comfortable being called she, like it just doesnt fit me but I like looking like a girl it doesnt make sense and I honestly dont know what im doing

Im having second thoughts about cutting my hair short because I dont know if im 100% sure this is what I am I wish gender was just simple and I just felt 100% male but it doesnt work like that sadly and im just so confused... Please help (if u can) :)

Gender fluid or bi gender means that your gender identity shifts, often very suddenly and relatively often. There are other options where you don't feel either gender or you feel a mix of them. Often I see post where the member will say they are 80% male and 20% female. Those members base their decision on where they feel most comfortable even though it may not completely relieve the dysphoria. You may want to review our WIKI link on the subject.

I noticed that my male and female feelings ebb and flow.  Sometimes my feminine identity comes on strong while other times my masculine side strengthens.  I consider myself MtF however.  Maybe all peoples including cisgender people have fluctuating gender feelings but not necessarily a fluid gender identity.  For example, masculine men can be sensitive at times while feminine women can exert aggression from time to time.  This does not necessarily mean their gender identity changes.  On the other hand, some people are non-binary and gender identity does fluctuate.

I  would  like to answer  you question  but  it's complicated  really only you can know that by observing
Myself I just consider that "I am" like both female and male together at the same time.... though I think I'm mostly  female....
So well  at least I can understand  the confusion.... I just go with the flow and "be"

Well I'm not non-binary but I think you shouldn't get too hung up on the labels though... Labels are just words like adjectives to better describe someone's experience. Similar to 'artistic' or 'sporty'.

The most important thing is you know what you need: like for example T and top surgery. It really doesn't matter 'how much of a male' you are then...!

Many ftms have hangups on that: that they must feel '100%' male. Well I don't think a percetage is a good indicator or a description for someone's gender. Bcos it can be confused with being feminine or masculine. Remember that clothing and hair length and wanting to look 'cute' sometimes doesn't have anything to do with your gender, really! I mean you can be a guy and have long hair for example. You shouldn't cut your hair just bcos you think 'that's what trans guys usually do' in order to qualify as trans. Cis and trans guys CAN and do have long hair. Similarly you don't have to grow a beard just bcos you go on T. You can also wear make-up or wear whatever and still be a guy.

The most important thing is what YOU feel INSIDE! If you cringe for the thought of being referred to as a girl in anyway, you might be just ftm. What is the narrative inside your head? Do you consider yourself a guy, a girl, or something else? Some people also have hangups about gender words! Like 'man' vs 'guy' or 'dude' etc. So you can identify more as a 'boy' or 'guy' than a 'man' or 'male' for example! Again, just words. Don't get too hung up on them.

The point is: Do you feel uncomfortable as a girl? Do you feel natural/normal/comfortable as a guy? Do you want to express both in some way or...?

This is where life begins for me. It's a miracle I finally got it done.

I'm more than anything an individual; I'm too complex to be put in any box.
