Hey everyone, I need help finding some good jeans before I move off to college. I'm a trans guy and I need something similar to straight leg jeans because I wear cowboy boots under my one good pair of jeans often (I would buy more of them but they only come in one color and don't help hide my curves). I'm around a size 32 waiste and like a straight but tapered look. Any brand names to buy these types of jeans or a specific jean name would help. Thank u!

You can't go wrong with Levi's for looking like a regular guy.  Not the cheapest, though.  There are multiple styles: tight, relaxed, boot-cut, etc.  For wearing with your cowboy boots, go for the boot cut.

You will need your inseam measurement.  Men's jeans are sold with two numbers on then, like: 32x30.  The first number (32) is the waist measurement.  The second number (30) is the inseam measurement for leg length.  You will want to try them on the first time you buy them, just to check your measurements against the manufacturer's standard.

Once you know what your measurements are, they are a much more realiable indicator of size than the size numbers on women's clothes.  Men will think nothing of going into a store, picking a pair of 40x32s off the shelf and heading straight to the cashier, confident that they will fit.  Except when their beer gut has grown, of course. ;)

Nah, you just push the waistband down under the belly. The lowered hems will walk off into ragged fringes until the length is right.
I left the door open, only a few came through. such is my life.

Try the wrangler jeans at Walmart or the target brand as well. Each brand fits a little different.

JC penny  has a good selection and their Arizona brand has many different styles. You can also get their clothes online.

I'd also recommend Levi's, though their marked sizing isn't terribly accurate.  Good idea to bring a tape measure to verify sizing.
