When I first joined here at Susan's, at first I just trolled the pages and read everything I could. I would sit here and read about people that are 3-4 years into their transition and would think I'll never get there.

I'm here to tell you that today is my 4 year anniversary of going full time. The changes in my life since that day are astounding. Living authenticly has its challenges but well worth it. All my documentation has been updated and hopefully this coming year I'll have my bottom surgery. I have been lucky enough to be working in a beauty salon and have had the help of so many women.
The depth of my friendships with my two best friends is amazing. The connection between us is on such a different level than I had ever experienced before.

I never thought I could be this happy. Hold onto your dreams. Never let go and keep pushing towards them and you'll get there too.

Your smile says it all Melissa Ann. Transitioning seems to magically move us into a world where joy and happiness are all around. The price of admission can be high, but I think it is well worth it.

Congratulations or your fourth year of living as your true self, and I hope celebrate many, many more!

Love always -- Jessica Rose

Congratulations Mellissa Ann!   You sound so happy and that is a wonderful state to be in.  And I love your smile too!  Thanks for sharing.
But now old friends they're acting strange
They shake their heads, they say I've changed
Well something's lost, but something's gained
In living every day.
