Do you dream of yourself as a girl?

Finding Lauren

Hey,

Just participating on this site is giving my softening a big push.
The last two nights I've dreamt of myself as a girl for the first times.  Before I had dreams of suddenly realizing I was wearing girl's clothing ... and no one reacted negatively, but I was stressed. Now I dreamt of actually having large A-cup breasts, then the next night looking in the mirror and seeing a woman, a cute woman ... and no one reacted negatively. I loved my hair.
Do you dream it?
When did it start for you?
I assume it's a watershed point in one's self image.
Where will tonight take me?
Excited, but pensive,

Lauren

@Finding Lauren
Dear Lauren:
My dreams that involve myself started being consistently "female" within a few months of me going Full-time.
Almost never am I ever depicted in my current dreams as my old male self.

Yes indeed, certainly an affirming thing to have our dream events happen in our correct gender and name...
Hugs,
Danielle

This is an interesting thread!

One dream I had as a child in 1974 when I first started school was quite intense and stayed with me over the years.

At school I played with girls and boys. I knew I wasnt a girl but I often wished I was like my friends Lisa, Kerry and Natalie.

In my dream I went to school and once there I noticed I was wearing a girls tunic school uniform.

I was in the playground with my 3 friends and they noticed I looked like them. They asked me if I was really a girl and to my surprise I said yes I am.

They asked me if I had a girls "thing" and one at a time they raised their own tunic to prove that they did!

I raised my tunic and to my most electric & pleasant realization discovered I was physically female as well.

They told me that was great and I was really one of the girls I was really one of them!

When I woke up I can still remember the adrenaline rush and warm pleasant euphoria that came with that dream. As a child I had variations of that dream several times.

Back at school I never told my friends about the dream but I still enjoyed their company  ( probably even more than normal).

I dreamed of being a girl most of my life and mostly was female in my dreams. That hasn't changed. Oddly I did have a nightmare where I was male recently and I was pleased when it was over.

I am a female in every one of my dreams for the last 15 or 16 years.  If I am in the dream, my bottom is always naked (even if the dream has nothing to do with anything even close to sex), probably to make sure that nobody can mistake me for a guy?

I had a recurring dream when I was early teenager.  I woke up as a girl and that was the meaning and purpose of the dream.

Since transition I'm just me. I'm Denise. Gender doesn't enter into the dream at all.

Wow girls, you are way ahead of me!
Maybe I was just too sleep deprived over the last 10 years (true I think) to dream.
Kirsten your dream was so nice.  I think they call that cross dressing.  Mine have just been about a single feminine aspect, and then I woke up.  Maybe I can try to explore the next one more?
My earliest memory of being drawn to the feminine world was like a dream.  I was 7 and I learned that my grand parents had a neighbor girl named Karen.  I peaked at her as long as I could through a hole in the hedge.  She was magic, or should I say her Sunday dress was magic, so frilly, whimsical and feminine.  I was just dying to be her, to be allowed to be softer and expressive.  My stomach was queezy and I felt so confused/jealous.

I seldom remember my dreams for more than half a second after I wake up.  So I can't really tell you much about most of my dreams.  In most of them, I don't think I am gendered, or at least I am not aware of my gender in them.  I know I have had a few in recent months where I knew that I was female in the dream.

Short answer, yes, quite often.

Longer answer, in my dreams, I intimately know this, but it's only been physically proven a couple of times. So yes in my dreams i'm a woman but mostly I can't prove that.

Sometimes, my last dream that I recall,  started off as me being a man, then I was killed by a clown only to come back as a female ghost.  It was a weird dream, from what I recall of it there were a few of us staying at some old mansion and the clown killed us off one by one, eventually killing me as well.  After we died, we were meant to remain in the mansion to keep things in order, so basically I was a permanent maid.

I remember looking in the mirror, and seeing a slightly pudgy and plain girl in the reflection, and not feeling anything, not horror not delight, not even surprise.  When I met all of the other guests who were likewise killed and came back as ghosts, they all looked like themselves.  My brother was there as well, and was the only one who recognized me, and he was not surprised either, although he seemed a bit annoyed.

Yeah I have weird dreams.  I usually don't stay the same person in my dreams, I often am killed too.

Unfortunately, I usually have to wake up way too early, and if I think too much about what I had dreamed of I fall back asleep.  So I usually just focus on what needs to be done.

I usually have lucid dreams and remember them. Which means I am aware of the fact I'm dreaming and often play with the dream state a bit...

I had an interesting set of dreams in which a friend was outing herself as TG to me.  What made it really interesting was that I woke a few times, and each time I woke up the time line progressed!  A series of episodes in a single night!

My dreams of being a girl have been a part of me for as long as I can remember.  I don't even need to be sleeping to have them. Up until 3 years ago, I did not know why I was having these dreams. I thought I was sick! Now that I am on low dose HRT, my dreams are even better.

I don't sleep soundly enough anymore to dream sadly. I dreamed of being a girl most of my life and mostly was female in my dreams as a teenager though. I had a re-occurring dream several times of me as just one of the girls and fellow cheerleaders. That dream stayed with me for a couple years.

When I was in denial, I used to be dead set on being a engineer like the great Isambard Kingdom Brunel. In my dreams of visiting a bridge I designed that was being built, I caught a glimpse of myself and I was also female.

I have noticed in my dreams I either can fully see myself and I am a female or I just catch a glimpse of a faceless being that you cannot see clearly. You can only feel the presence of myself in the dreams.

I am glad this post came up. Interesting to think back on those weird dreams I used to have.

This is so nice reading of each other's dreams.  It's kind of like we are dreaming together ... and that's really the spirit of this forum.

Your invited into my dreams,

Now that I live full time as a woman for a while, I seem not to have any dreams anymore with me present at all.  I seem not to have to dream anymore to be female, because I am a woman now, and thus can go on in my dreams to dream what cis people dream?

In my dreams for years it was like I knew I was hiding it.  Often nervous that the workd would know.  Lately it has been different. I see myself more clearly and as a woman.  There is a growing peace in that.   I woke up this morning with a sweet feeling

as I can recall from my 'pre' dreams. I had no identity. kind of a blurred someone doing 'whatever the dream was about'

Now, definitely 100% woman, no mistaking. When they are of the sexual nature, I am on the receiving side. Rather disconcerting actually since I like girls not guys. :\
I left the door open, only a few came through. such is my life.
