Have you set some goals for next year, 2025?

Share some if you wish.

Which are specifically related to your transition?

Which may be related to your work or profession or education or weight or attitudes or giving or helping others or removing any bad habits, and so on?

Happy New Year!

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

My passport is being processed now, so having that available is step 1.
Once they return my original documents, I will have my birth certificate updated/corrected.
Next, I am focused on moving out of South Dakota, most likely Minnesota, because it is the closest sanctuary state.

After that, I plan to prepare to leave the country if necessary. That will primarily be saving money to make a trip. I am seriously considering Thailand if I need to go somewhere. They have a special visa available for retirees that allows one to stay for a year. U.S. citizens are not allowed to buy a house or land but can buy a condo through a third-party company. The cost of living is much, much lower than here in the West, so that will be a huge help.

When you consider that a small 1-bedroom apartment here can run $1500+ per month, but in Thailand you can live comfortably (rent, food, transportation, etc.) on that same amount of money. Like most countries, the large cities are more expensive, but the smaller rural areas are quite affordable. One place of interest is Phuket Island. That may be my general attitude at present, but it is pronounced Poo-Ket. There is no "F" sound. Just like Phi Phi is pronounced Pee-Pee, not Fee-Fee.  ;D
My Life is Based on a True Story

2017 - GD Diagnosis / 2019- 2nd Diagnosis / 2020 - HRT / 2022 - FFS & Legal Name Change
/ 2024 - Voice Training / 2025 - Passport & IDs complete

I think there are members here who have or are living in Thailand.

To live each day well.  To be helpful.   To make it to the next day.  To be grateful always.

To be reasonable always.   To listen well always.   To understand.   To be understood.

May each of you have wonderful years ahead.
