My (current) addiction is definitely clothes. I didn't really think about the need to define my style as a woman when I began transitioning. As a male, it was loose fitting and devoid of colors for the most part.
And then it happened! I found a world where I could express my emotions, my style, my intent through what I was wearing. And, Oh My God!!!!! Colors and patterns and lengths, oh my!!
My wife taught me how to shop for bargains and never to pay full price for clothes through her example over the years. So, I've shopped smartly but oh have I shopped. And, along the way, there were a few failures. At this point, though, I think my side of the closet and our storage closet has more of my clothes than hers.
And, a new dress arrives today. The addiction continues.
