Seriously.

Ok, I get the physical aspect of it. I get the sexual aspect of it.
I do. I love my meow. I'm fascinated by my parts and what they do during an orgasm. Which incidentally, is the major reason  I'm so opposed to anything but top surgery. I mean WTF are you guys on? You honestly expect me to believe you'd trade 'THE DANCE' of the female orgasm for what - just for the satisfaction of not having a meow? You're mad, mad I tell ya!

And yeah, tits are nice to have. Well, I've a love/hate relationship with mine. I hate them at all times. I even shower in my underwear, but on those rare occasions when it's been awhile and I actually have to wash them - it's like GODDAMN, they're gorgeous!
And I'm drooling and juicing and all that.

*clears throat*

ahem...

but uh seriously if there's anything more to like about being female than the above, please enlighten me.

I don't really think qualitative values really play in it so much for me. It's just a matter of what I am and what I am not. Being female is how I am, whether I like it or not. And while I can see positive qualities that being male can have and negative qualities that being female can have, these qualities do not affect who I am.

That's a very good post, Redfish. "Mad" or "angry."

I have to concur with that. But, I have to concur with Nero as well. With the orgasm part.

What a wonderful metaphor to describe it: the dance. Yes!

And the coupling of the entire body and the psyche into that dance that whirls, swirls and steps, kicks and gently strolls with a rhythm like none I had ever felt until that. The melding with my lover and the melding with something so vast I can only call it Mother.

It's a Mystery, like Eleusis or the Transubstantiation.

*sigh*

Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame.

well said.

Nero, I have orgasms that are nothing like I did before I started on HRT.  It rewired all of my neural pathways in conformity with my body.  Nothing feels like it did in the past.  And my past is an asset for in living to please my partner in every way, including sexually, I know what I must do to please myself and get a ride in an F-16 and explode all over its cockpit before it lands ever so gently.

To borrow from the late Harry Chapin, "...I finally like myself.  At last, I like myself."

For those who feel differently from you or me, Nero, I will cheer them on and help them in whatever way that I can.

There are no sexual aspects that are superior from my perspectives.  Of course, I'm asexual.

I certainly have found no benefit financially.  In fact, I've made much less in my career.

The clothing was fun for a while. There was such a variety and explosion of color compared to the greys and blues of the corporate rat race.  But I became comfortable in a fairly non visible part of our society and started dressing like a normal person... casual.. very.

There has been no benefit in my family relations.  It's been difficult at best and with some of them, I'll never reconcile no matter what I do.

I suppose that I like myself because this is how I always saw myself.  I hated that other person (whose name shall not be mentioned).  I'm happy to be female.  And that trumps all the problems my transition created.

Well for me I am just happy that I got the nerve to jump thee chasm to the female side of the gender equation.  I am happy and very grateful to explore and learn about my new gender role. I am for once comfortable in my own skin and I am even more happy then ever before.

It is the most wonderful experience to have someone help me to the car with the groceries or just have a gentleman hold a door open for me. Saved this one for last, yes I love colors to and during the summer months I love to wear sundresses of every color I can get., They are the coolest thing one can wear during the summer heat. Then walk about town and observe the guys watching me as I walk by them.

Lastly
Orgasms oh yeah, certainly, the plumbing down there works quite fine, better then ever and yes I can dance the dance. OK that's enough for tonight. I should be ashamed of myself, a granny bragging like that.

What i like about being female:

(aside from the obvious that i am which everyone feels the need to point out here)

I can be more in touch with my emotion, i can god damn cry when i god damn want to  >:(
my body is a work of art (in progress) There is nothing more beautiful than the female breast, its just, so pretty and perfect (mostly)
Dont get me wrong, male bodies make me drool, but the female body is beautiful.... beyond equal...
Guys are chivalrous to me, opening doors, helping me, might not need it, but its sweet.
Freedom to dress as i please, for females, theres very little that = crossdressing.... I can wear boys jeans and still look good :D So many styles and choices for how i want to look, i can express my personality in my clothes.
Whats the best thing?
One day ill be a mother...
I dont think there is any greater joy for a woman, than children, hers by biology or not.

I would have to say I love experiencing the the various emotions and have the pleasure of being able to share them with another. Feeling some of the physical art of my body changing in intensity.
Deep love and appreciation of all elements. Touching the infinite and to flow with the multiple realities like surfing the many shads of an explosion of vibrant colors of fireworks of the heavens.. OK that' enough

People are friendlier when I am perceived female.  And they smile more.  I guess I'm less threatening.
