T-Day!

No April Fools either.  I got my first shot today and I feel great, it'll be about a month they said before i see any changes.  Just wanted to share my good news with people who understand.  Yeah, yeah... i know this kind of a post is a pet peeve of many but...

For those who think you can't get here, you can.  My life is finally starting, all at once.  I'm on top of the world and it feels great. Without the down years i never would have been able to appreciate this.  The last 15/16 years have been hard, and while i wish i had started sooner I guess everything happens for a reason.  I guess I wasn't ready.

Thanks to everyone for your posts, its really been a help.  The last year of my life, whenever i've felt alone i've turned to Susan's.  This place is a lifesaver.
