Today was not a fun day. It started when I woke up and found out that I could not pay my electric bill online due to the fact the account is not in my name. I then call my cell phone company to pay that bill and they tell me my credit card number was rejected. It's actually a check card so I call up my bank and ask what's going on. They put me on hold and come back and tell me the card's been reported lost or stolen. Well that's not right I say the card's not been out of my possession since I received it. The lady I was speaking with said she would do some checking and find out what's going on. About 30 minutes later I was told that they got a hold of the supervisor of my branch of the bank and she was opening a new account and would have to call me back afterwards. Needless to say I did not receive a call back. So first thing tomorrow I get to try this all over again.

I must say that since I use my debit card to pay for most transactions. Not having it available when I need it was very un-cool. . Not having cash when you need it is not very fun either. This however is a situation most transsexuals have to deal with on a regular basis. Electrolysis, hormones, voice therapy, doctor visits and many other miscellaneous expenses related to our condition. I like most others short on cash would dearly love to have extra sources of income. I can use my programming abilities however it's not easy to find someone who needs custom scripts written for their web sites. I do get the occasional job however it's not reliable enough to count on it as a source of income. I some times think about a second job however my first job eats up enough of my time and since I am on call 24 hours a day it's not that feasible. So I cover my bills and stay home a lot and dream the dream of having all the money required to fulfill my needs.
