Hi, I am new to the forum and thought I would say hi.

I have just ,after many years of denial, accepted that I am transgendered. Now that I have I am finding the confusion and constant asking of myself "who am I", have gotten so much better. The main conflict I have inside is that, again after spending most my life lying to myself, is that with a family(mainly a grandson I am helping raise) I can not come totally out. Because of this I seek out support from others, local and online, so I can become the woman I am meant to be.

Well just a little about me.

take care

Hi Monica! I understand your situation. I am 50 and have settled the issue that I am transgender. I have struggled with this knowledge and have kept it private since childhood. If I go public, it will destroy my family. There is no simple solution. Should I keep me private or tell and suffer the consequences. May we both make the "right decision!!"

Welcome to the site, Monica. Your story reminds me of where I was nearly three years ago. I first discovered that I was transgender and a crossdresser. I denied it for weeks until I couldn't stand it any longer. I embraced my ->-bleeped-<- and and crossdressing and I am so happy  :) and content. I'm pleased that you have embraced who you are.
