Confederate money was actually quite beautiful. Each state commissioned artists to create different designs and so they came out charmingly local.
Southern gentleman here. I'm surprised it didn't ask how one pronounces New Orleans. That's my favorite to hear. My Chicagoan friend, who is down south for college, says "New Or-leans" like "leaning, all finely pronounced, and I laughed. "You mean Naulens?"
