I came out to one of my big bosses today a couple of steps up our tree, it bacame nessicary as suddenly she is my HR manager as well. I guess the meeting went well, I was so busy at work I never stopped until 4 in the afternoon so I hope it was ok.

I go there a tad late and she was on the phone conference so once I had settle in (and the last person could be found) we started. I did not know what to say so I let the HR manager start. Wow, she came out with the whole GID think and talked my future transition at work. I just needed to explain to this boss why I was so upset on Tuesday (ie I transitioning and sometimes it gets hard). I put in my two cents worth to tell her why I wanted the meeting) and that was that, I needed to get back to my desk and continue my work. I had no time to think about it so it was easy, wish it would be like that all the time.

Congrats Alice... another hurdle negotiated.

You need to set a time table with HR next.
