Nim's Island was the last in-cinema movie we saw. I loved it, it was a sweet and neat tale. Of course, I absolutely love Jodie Foster and she played the agoraphobic author really well, of course!! And the
Little Miss Sunshine girl was excellent as Nim as well. It was a good story and a good "heart" movie. Even my 10 year old "Ninja Warrior" liked it and that sort of movie can be a hard-sell for him when he could see
Iron Man instead.

At home, the last one we watched was
August Rush, Catherine and I had seen it in the theaters, but the Ninja hadn't. Again, he loved/loves it. We've had it for three weeks now and it's been watched probably 10 times!! The story is fanciful, of course, but again, a very "heart" appealing fancy. The acting is excellent, so good that perhaps Robin Williams is kinda shadowed by Keri Russell and omg! the little boy from
Finding Neverland. So bad at child-actor names except for Dakota Fanning who seems ubiquitous!!
Anyhoo, I'd recommed both, highly, for people that sort of "chick flick" movie appeals to.
