Hi All,

I missed everyone last weekend. The internat connection was down at home so I am here at work trying to catch up with what has happened.

However some good as come from not being able to log on here. I had a long chat to a good friend of mine Paul and I told him I am transgendered. I lived with Paul for a few years and I hated having to hid from him. He is the type of person who takes these things in his stride and we had a good loong chat about what is happening within out lives. I am still trying to figure out where I stand with these things and he kept on renforcing that I just need to be true to myself. It is so nice to have a great friend like him.

Aha, indeed, it seems that Paul is a person to be cherished :) and as far as trying to figure out where you stand! Well I'm afraid that doesn't happen often, for by the time we figure out where we "stand", we are usually "laying" six feet under.

yes......... just keep being true to yourself
we are alive..................... and we can be ourselves
who can stop us!!
just keep on being yourself and enjoy it
enjoy being alive........enjoy being the real you
enjoy living life as you

the ones who will love you will then love the real you

not the pretending you

then you can be the real you

then the ones who will love you will love the real you

then you can be the real you...........happy and glad

Hi Alice:

That's wonderful news!!  I'm very happy for you!  It's always great to have a good friend who you can talk to and be yourself with.

It is true what Misty wrote, the real friends will stay by your side no matter what...and the "others"....oh well...why talk about them, right?

Thanks all,

Unfortunatly all that good work has been undone, I crashed my car on the way home all all my emotions burst out again. :( :( :(.

I went drove to our normal simming session and burst out crying. It took me a while to regain control.

I told my brother something is going on in my life and my need to reveal all on the weekend - if I can get to Sydney.

Carol - If you are reading this I will make every effort to get there, I do not know the how at this stage.

So after a big cry I call the insurance company and they can and pick up the car. I will most probably not have a it back in a little while.

At least now I will be able to tell my brother about my inner demons.

Wow.
One person at a time. It feels much better just knowing other people know, for me at least, and maybe for you.

And you find that each time you share this you will feel that much better, even if the outcome is not what you expect, at least you don't have to hide.  Oh and about the car... yep that sucks big time, money costs, time etc.  But the important thing is that you are ok, cars are just stuff, you are the one that's important.

Alice,

I wish I could be there and give you a hug!

The first few people you tell are by far the most difficult, especially family.  I hope things go well with your brother.  We are all there with you as you start to share who you are.

Lots of love,

Chaunte

Thanks Chaunte,

Well things are moving on. My friends all knew about my delemer and one of them had lot of questions for me in light of my reaction to Mondays events. She asked me many questions and it was great being able to talk to someone about it and not having to hide it from them. I let her know my feelings and told her it has been with me for about 25 years. I guess the genie is becoming free. I still do not know what to do now she is out.

Ok, this may just be the optimist in me talking, but it sounds like you crashing your car and having the emotions flood back is a good thing.  Not because of the car (which can be replaced), but because this may be a big step that has allowed you to move forward.  You are ok and that's what's important and you have been able to start telling people your secret.

It is funny how thing work out. Last night telling my friends was a big step forward and made me relise they are good  friends who value me and will stand with me. Without the crash I would still be trying to hid it from them.

Hi Alice,
It sound like a lot of good came out of that car crash. I'm happy for you. :)
But sorry about the car.  :(
You said
QuoteI guess the genie is becoming free. I still do not know what to do now she is out.
You won't be able to put her back if you are like me. And that's not a bad thing.
Now is the time to learn about Alice. Give yourself the freedom to try things.

I think of myself as a baby girl learning about life. Already I have found that I like different foods, cloths, smells and I now look at allot of thinks differently then before.  I want to have my ears pierced, love earrings (hate them before), to dye my hair blond (didn't care what color my hair was) and too to turn heads when I walk by (always like to blend in public).  And all of this has happened without any additional hormones.

You have begun a new journey in your life. Enjoy it Alice.
:)

Alice,

This is when you will find who will stand as The Thousandth Man with you.

Chaunte

The Thousandth Man
Poem lyrics of The Thousandth Man by Rudyard Kipling.

One man in a thousand, Solomon says,
Will stick more close than a brother.
And it's worth while seeking him half your days
If you find him before the other.
Nine nundred and ninety-nine depend
On what the world sees in you,
But the Thousandth man will stand your friend
With the whole round world agin you.

'Tis neither promise nor prayer nor show
Will settle the finding for 'ee.
Nine hundred and ninety-nine of 'em go
By your looks, or your acts, or your glory.
But if he finds you and you find him.
The rest of the world don't matter;
For the Thousandth Man will sink or swim
With you in any water.

You can use his purse with no more talk
Than he uses yours for his spendings,
And laugh and meet in your daily walk
As though there had been no lendings.
Nine hundred and ninety-nine of 'em call
For silver and gold in their dealings;
But the Thousandth Man h's worth 'em all,
Because you can show him your feelings.

His wrong's your wrong, and his right's your right,
In season or out of season.
Stand up and back it in all men's sight --
With that for your only reason!
Nine hundred and ninety-nine can't bide
The shame or mocking or laughter,
But the Thousandth Man will stand by your side
To the gallows-foot -- and after!

My deversity manager and my boss know I am transgender. I told them I do not know what that means but at least they know I am transgender.

I can  not hid any more.
