Hi all.

It's been a while since I've really been on this website..been distracted with a lot of things. Halloween costume, language studying, ect. Ever since last year I realized I was FtM I've had trouble picking a name. I've been through so many names but none of them seemed to really fit or "click" as some say. For the past couple months I've sticked with the name Mola (if you know where my avatar is from, you'll know why I chose that) And well recently I thought I'd look up online to see if the name Mola was a common used name, ever been used before or whatever and I came across only one result and it said Mola was a female Indian name. The only time I've ever heard the name was from the movie my avatar's from and it was a guy that was named it. I still think the name is cool whether it's a male or female name but I'm FtM and..well..yeah. Ok well the next name I had in mind is pretty lame and ripped right from a cartoon but the other name I had my eye on was Raditz (dun dun dun..Dragonball Z) I thought that if Mola couldn't be used I could use Raditz but then I thought that I probably couldn't use that name either since it's not a "real" name per se and the only thing that name's been heard from was in DBZ though I typed the name up once and I found a result where it said it was used as a last name before or something (can't make sense out of it myself but here's the link http://www.amazon.com/Raditz-Name-History-Ancestry-com/dp/B000WDOT8E) Has anyone ever heard the name Mola used or Raditz? Just wondering..and..maybe hear some opinions on which name sounds better or something..

Oh and..hi to all since I'm probably gonna start posting here again :D

I spent most of my childhood watching that movie. It's actually a surprise that I've never gotten a whip with how I always ran around the house acting like Indiana. Maybe that's who I should dress up as for halloween. :D

I'm not a fan of DBZ but Raditz is a good name. It makes me think of the name Radhak or Radhakrishna.

I grew up watchin the Indiana movies x3 part 2 was always my fav

I think they both sound pretty silly, but Mola is better, Raditz sounds too much like radish, which although is a nice peppery veg with a nice crunch, is not a name.

but as choices go...

Pica, DAYUM. Your first pic before you edited reminded me of when I had my wisdom teeth removed.

Oh  O.O

I forgot, the other reference I've heard to the name Mola was the Sunfish. Sometimes it's called a Mola Mola http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ocean_sunfish. Hmm...

I wouldn't pick either of the names as Pica Pica said they sound really silly.. But dude its your name at the end of the day isn't it?

  •

Godot

Yeh..they both probably sound silly to most but the reason I like them is because I'm not fond of names that are really common..I like foreign names and names no one uses (or barely uses) yeh..I'll probably stick with Mola. It actually sounds like a name where Raditz sounds more like radish

Dude... you will realize, eventually, that as much as you might want a different name, a more common name is a better idea. There are always nicknames; if you want to be called Jabberwocky, for god's sakes, you can always make that your nickname. However, being an ftm already, you may want to find something that doesn't make you stand out so much.

Raditz was meant to sound like radish... all DBZ Saiyan's were named after vegetables lol And Picalo's race (cant remember what they were called ) all named after instruments lol

But yeah, end of the day it's your name, Godot, you're the one living with it the rest of your life.

Maybe the name Raditz was a little strange sounding..I just have a fondness of off-the-wall names lol

Hey, you can name yourself whatever you want. In my opinion though, even if you want a less common name that is unique, it's easier to pick one that sounds more natural or believable. Not one that sounds like you made it up, y'know?

Raditz sounds cool!
Are you changing it legally?
I'm stuck between "susan" and "caution"

Caution? Now that's an odd name. I nearly picked Iona as my new name, but I settled with Abbie.

My Dad is in Iona at the moment...

Really? I loved it there, partly due to the fact everyone rode around on bicycles! :D

That's the first good comment I've heard about that name  :D Now I dunno which one to pick lol. Nu..sadly I'm not changing it legally yet. I don't see that happening for a while (parents wouldn't like it much)

And Caution is a good name. It's nice and rare..er unheard of which is good..those are the best names (seriously)
