"Breaking News" as of minutes ago: it was unanimously decided to release the Branchflower report.

From the Anchorage Daily News:

    The legislative council just voted 12-0 to release the investigator Steve Branchflower's report on the Troopergate affair.

    The panel has been meeting all day in closed session discussing the report and whether to make it public at this time.

    It unanimously decided to do so, with at least three members participating by telephone.

this doesn't help anyone now.  The rabid psychos that listen to Der Fuhrer's hate speeches aren't interested in details. They will not accept that she has any imperfections at this point. She is their charismatic icon to be defended and loved and obeyed.

It might have helped if it came out before mcbraindrain chose her. Maybe he would have made a rational decision and chose someone who would maintain some dignity for him and his campaign.

Governer Palin is out today announcing "I have been vindicated."  No, governor, you have been found guilty of violating the Alaska ethics laws.  In every thesaurus I have, "vindicated" is on a different page than "guilty".

But in the world of Republican politics "vindicated" means that she has not been punished yet. It is not a lie, just campaign talk to the Joe six pack who is too illiterate to know the difference. Remember she is for Family values.
