The next Shear Genius - Gave myself a haircut

Ok, so down here in Aust its getting pretty warm, I decided its perfect timing to cut all my hair off and do the buzz cut thing, my gf says wait till she comes home and she will do it for me. I (being a man) know I can do it myself

Looks pretty good, I was impressed. Happy with it. Decided to pick up the clippers and trim it a bit



Yes, I forgot to put the numbered blade back on. 

I suppose to go to work tomorrow, any ideas on how to fix this??? What should I do? I work in the Customer Service Industry and there is about 3000 guys at work, I cant go like this!!!

I'm sorry but..........LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Oh man! This reminds me, of when I let my ex, cut my hair. "Oh yeah, I TOTALLY know how to cut hair" This EXACT same thing happened. Sorry bud, but your best bet is to buzz your entire head, unless you want a ring around your dome. Sucks, but, lesson learned. It looks good, besides that though

Gauze and medical tape.  Make it look like an injury.   

I did that to my son once.  Buzzed him, and a minute later saw a long strand sticking up.  The clippers didn't have the guard on, but I was only clipping that one hair, what's the harm??  Well he moved his head at the wrong moment and had a bald spot on the top of his head.

Definitely some good ideas here.  Another idea is to put one on the other side or make it into a design so it looks like it was done on purpose.  I think trimming the sides shorter is the best of the ideas though.

Except for the bald bit, it looks fantastic on you, but I'm suddenly glad I can't afford clippers, I'd probably be in the same fix! (grin) I "buzzed" mine with scissors... the haircut looks good, but I somehow managed to nick most of my fingers.
Why can't you just tell people you tried to cut it yourself and had a little mishap? Doing it yourself IS such a guy thing, and if you tell it with humor, maybe they'll laugh with you (instead of at you). I bet your not the only guy out of 3000 to do that.
At least it won't take long to grow back!

Yeah, I'm also for putting some medical tape on it and saying you got stiches or something.

Or you could just wear it with pride. I think a lot of guys will give you ->-bleeped-<- for it but they all know it could have just as easily been them.

thanks for all your suggestions guys. While I  loved the idea of having some Medical tape on my head and faking a great injury (involving motorbike stunts or shark attacks  ). I went with getting a barber to shave off the sides



Now no-one can call me a square anymore, lol
