I just thought I'd post this here for anyone who's interested. This is one of the most transgender inclusive games I've ever played.

It's an RPG primarily, however you can do pretty much whatever you want within it... including cross dressing, having gay relationships (yes, even the 'S' word) and gay marriages, buy and run real estate... there's even a side quest that offers a sex change potion as a reward (and a fun little sub-quest that allows you to be really evil and gives you a chance to change the genders of innocent people you coerce into following you into a place called the Temple of Shadows... they call it sacrificing but hey...)

You create your own character and then the world is largely your oyster. You can be good or evil, pure or corrupt (and yes, chances are you will contract an STD from having unprotected sex with the... practitioners of the world's oldest profession).

And the game has some excellent speech from the likes of Zoe Wannamaker, Stephen Fry and Julia Sawalha. Not to mention that the gameplay, sound and graphics are stunning.

For anyone with an Xbox 360... very, very highly recommended. :)

They probably will do eventually, but at the moment it's exclusive.

Lol, I tried bigamy... it didn't really work out. I think one of my wives knew something was up because when I got back to her, she'd divorced me and left. ;D

And for some unfathomable reason, I managed to contract three STD's through having sex with my wife (my character is female). Which is doubly unfair because with two girls, the option to have protected sex is disabled (where would you put the condom?) so the only thing you can do is have it unprotected... and add to that the fact that every time I check my wife's status she "Wants Sex"... I'm going to end up a permanent resident in the Fable GUI clinic. ::)

I can't be evil though. It just doesn't sit well with me. I do have a pretty halo above my character's head, but does it really make up for giving up my youth and beauty (for your typical pact some dude had with dark demons) instead of letting it happen to some kidnapped girl all so she could go home to her family... hmm, I dunno.

Haven't tried getting pregnant yet... I can't bring myself to marry a guy. :-\

I've played Fable.  I felt like I was being scripted down a set path no matter how much freedom of movement it gave me. Pick one from column A and one from column B, etc, and now your life has been determined for you.

I liked Fable, will probably pick this up when it goes to PC. Sounds like fun. Maybe I'll even try some cross-dressing ;)

This is actually pretty close to how my character looks:

In that she has white dreadlocks and is about the same build. Slightly different clothes, though. And no tattoos.

The trouble is, depending on what you choose to learn (melee, ranged or magic) it drastically affects your appearance. Melee proficiency sees your character grow into the proverbial brick outhouse, ranged sees them grow to about seven feet in height, and magic gives them weird glowing blue lines all over their body. Aesthetically, you have to stay pretty weak to look somewhat normal, lol.

It is really, really good fun. And some of the speech has me in fits of giggles. ;D

That was the best bit about Fable, the voice-overs cracked me up.

I know this is probably really anal... but... if you've seen LOTR, particularly the battle of Helm's Deep, where Theoden makes the "If this is to be our end..." speech... picture a scrawny little bandit, shouting in a cheesy Scottish accent: "If this is to be our end, then let us make such an end... blah blah, you know how it goes!" Right before you shoot him in the crotch with that shiny new multi-barelled rifle you just bought.

It's classic. ;D

I'll let my angry friend, Mr. Croshaw, speak on my behalf about this game:

I pretty much agree with everything he said.
It's the same game, with all the same issues.

And maintain a careful balance between good and evil.

I love Yahtzee's commentary, although his standards for games are a bit different from mine. I'm happy with an immersive, interactive story (as long as it's relatively bug-free).

This actually is my character (apologies for the rubbish pictures, they were taken with a rubbish camera phone, lol)

That big glowy thing is actually a halo. She's the ultimate good and the ultimate pure that you can be, pretty much. That, having blue eyes and white hair, are the only things I've noticed that come from being uber good. I haven't tried the evil route, so I don't know how that affects your appearance.

I'm not sure the story is as immersive as it probably could be. I think a huge, Final Fantasy type plot was traded for the sandbox game world and the ability to live your life largely however you want.

Y'know, I tend to play characters in RPGs as far from my RL self as possible.
i.e. Male, evil, angry/ugly looking, etc.
To me that's always been the point of RPGs - to be someone you are not.

Although that's coming from a pen and paper RP background and applying it to console/PC RPGs.

I'm not a genetic female, able to give birth to children. :P

I am playing as a male character on my other saved game, and it feels very, very weird. :-\ The only reason I'm doing it is to get the other endings and unlock the Achievements... and because I think you have to drink the sex change potion to complete the quest you get it in... so, as in life, my ultimate aim is for him to become her. :)

I've played that game  :)  I didn't go far enough it seems, when and where do you get that side quest with the gender changing potion? My sword swinging muscle-man could use a swig  ;)

Lol, um... after you complete the main storyline. I'm not going to say where but... I will say, you need a fair bit of money collected to start it.

I got around to doing this on Saturday. It really did take some work to get the cash together and in the end all the points I put into the physical skills made my character looks very manish once transformed   I'll go back and refund all those points and put them into the shooting skills I think.

My second save file is a different story, and quite a bit more evil than my first. It's amazing how quickly they are to restock the gypsy camp after I clense it of all life  >:-)

Maybe I enjoy this game a tad too much  :P
