That's cool. For me it's hard to get clothes that fit right cause of my girlish figure. Regular mens wear makes my hips/butt more noticeable. I end up doing a lot of mixing and matching.

Why would you withhold your opinion?  it's amazing how much truth stretching and blatant dishonesty happens in "do i pass?" threads.  b/c really, if you have to ask, you probably don't.

lying or exaggerating is a safety issue, people.  you don't want to inflate some dude who still looks like a lady that he's The Best At Passing EVAR! b/c he could then get himself harassed, beaten or killed.

I'd recommend all of us early-transition guys take a good long look in the mirror. Ditch the carefully-angled shots and really make sure you're not trying so hard you put yourself in harms way.

You've got an entire life to live as a guy... patience now = better later. I should know. I've been a victim of this sort of violence already

I think it's because on a support site, people may feel a bit awkward saying something negative, but that doesn't stop it from happening. Still, I think it's the fear that people don't really know the line and what they can really say or can't say. I agree, though, people should be honest and it not only goes for FTMs but for MTFs as well.

Though, about the "if you have to ask then you aren't." bit I'm not sure I can agree to it's entirety. After a few months of not seeing some friends from high school and then meeting up with them I heard them whisper, "Wow, even with long hair she still looks like a guy." and all of them agreeing. They thought I didn't hear and thought it was an insult but they couldn't be further from the truth. However, there are days where I think I pass and days when I don't. And just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean I pass or don't pass.

I do get what you mean, and perhaps I'm being a tad too picky.
