Forgive me for going on so about food. There are not many places to talk about such things. It doesn't come up much in guy talk, and I rarely fit into girl talk. Even in the General Discussion forums, cooking, sewing, knitting, children, etc don't come up much. It's all fashion and makeup.
Anyway, supper was a success. It all cooked so fast, I was courting disaster. Dishes came close to, but didn't burn. At one point, I grabbed for the cranberries and picked up dried Michigan cherries instead, but they went with the couscous and almonds as if I had planned it.
Z, my partner also likes to cook but has a more important role as breadwinner. Yesterday, she made hot dogs, baked beans, and sauerkraut to go with the basketball game we were watching on TV. I will enter the sweepstakes, but would be surprised to win. And finally, I must say your dinner sounds good; haven't eaten buckwheat in quite a while.
