Are you in a significant personal relationship and if so, how would you describe it, clinicaly speaking?

If you chose "Other", Please elaborate.

At the start I voted
I am not currently in a relationship
but would like to be.  :-\

Now things have changed
I can't change my vote but anyway...

I really want a relationship, but no one seems interested in little old me.  If I express an interest, they are gone.  I let them know from the get go that I am trans, and then they just want sex.  I just want a loving caring relationship without sex, for now.

I should just give up and be the crazy lady on the corner with all the cats.

I'm married to a wonderful GBloke.

Other. I call my relationship "married" ;P Once Dani completes her transition, our relationship will be seen as lesbian, but personally I don't care what other people think :)

I'm technically still married to a GG but the divorce papers have already been filed. We get along ok for the most part. I hate to see it end because I love her but I'm about 80% sure my next relationship, way in the future, will be with either another transperson or genetic male.

I'm in a wonderful relationship with a wonderful GM.  Believe it or not we met online and it was love at first sight.  He knows everything of my past and we have been living together for the past 5 months.  He asked me to marry him and we plan to wed early next year.

Just another relationship black sheep reporting in.

I can dream about it all I want, but that won't change the fact that it's all in my head.
Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur. Happy kitty, sleepy kitty, purr, purr, purr.

Exactly my position.

Other, but that is mostly just because multiple person relationships seems to be an almost foreign concept. *shrug*

I consider myself M2F despite my choice not to transition and am married to a GG.  I would describe it as fairly typical for a relationship except my wife isn't threatened by my more feminine aspects and allows me to cry when my GID is eating me.
Ill no longer be defined by my condition. From now on, I'm just, Kate.

No I didn't...did I? Well, how did that...?

Problem solved.
Thanks for bringing that
to my attention.

You're welcome. But now it won't let me change my vote.

I was a bit surprised to find myself in the most populated type of relationship here: MTF-GG. How would I describe it? Lesbian. We both identify as lesbian. You keep hearing how the majority of trans women are supposed to be heterosexual. I'm just not seeing it, though. Not around here, anyway. Maybe the hetero gals flock to other forums, I don't know. Lesbian trans women have often been disparaged as inauthentic. For that matter, I was also surprised that so far no one has selected FTM-GG, as I've gotten the impression that this is very prevalent in the FTM world. I could be mistaken. Maybe it's just the small sample size so far.
Here's what I find about compromise--
don't do it if it hurts inside,
'cause either way you're screwed,
eventually you'll find
you may as well feel good;
you may as well have some pride

Weird I have always heard it was the opposite - that the majority of MTF were gynephilic.

Around here, that's how most people would list my relationship.  But like I said, my lady and I see our relationship as male-female, nothing less.

I understand that in this "community" that descriptive terms are debatable.
I hope that this doesn't descend into a debate over descriptive terms. It is not
my intent, in the form or content of the options available to offend anyone.

Though I consider myself to be a woman, I know that I am not a Genetic Girl.
So, IF I were involved in a relationship with or married to a woman, born female,
I would consider it a "lesbian" relationship. From a clinical view point,
for the purposes of this poll I would answer M2F-GG

Thank-you for your support.

In many ways I'd like to find that special someone. And there are those who show interest. Both male and female. But mostly males lately. Maybe because my boobs are becoming rather obvious and I go bra less most of the time. I'm not sure. Ever meet a "dumb blonde" that is a bit more intelligent than you expected? Anyway, I'm not sure that I want to deal with another person in my life or not  ??? But that need to be snuggled does haunt me. Someone with their arms around me and kissing my neck. I better stop there  :icon_chick:
