Nothing to do with TG but:

As some of you know I'm in the Australian Hospital system.
A converstaion today with a Dept of Health Idiot.

We are letting you have 8 paediatric beds per week, thats all you need. Me (and colleagues) we have 32 paediatric beds occupied at the moment. It's winter, we have a flu epidemic and an RSV epidemic. Idiot, but you only need eight beds. Us, what part of eight plus 24 cannot you understand? Idiot, we've done the calculations. Over the year you average at eight beds, so you only need eight beds. Us, in summer we have essentially no paediatric patients. In winter we are overwhelmed. Idiot, so I'm right you average eight beds a week throughout the year. Therefore we will only fund eight beds.

Cindy, cracks a bottle of wine

Sounds like a strange problem. Whom ever the bed funder is should go tell the patients they will have to leave. FYI, if you drink a bottle of wine you will feel better but the problem will still be there. Sounds like the biggest problem is the idiot and not so much the bedspace.

Cindy, I can see how that would be extremely frustrating.  The idiot doesn't have a clue.  Does the idiot have any kids?

Ask the idiot how you put 32 people into 8 beds. Or better yet, send the sick people over to his house!!!  >:-)
