The Weight Loss Plan

For the past two weeks, I've been going to the gym and walking 2 miles (16 laps) every other day for a half hour every time. Today, I modified the plan a little bit by running 3 of those laps. I found that I felt good after the first lap but that my body started hurting into the second one. For now, I'm going to do one lap every so often interspersed with walking until my body gets used to it.

I'm also losing weight- I lost 8 pounds in the last two weeks...four pounds this week. I'm still not at what I like to call "girl weight"- which is rather the entire point.

My dad came down to the college and put a new battery in my car for me so I re-scheduled my appointment with the laser hair removal place about ten miles away from college. I'm going this Thursday at 1 PM, which means I'll have to work out after I'm done. I had planned to work out on the weekends for the last two Sundays, but it didn't work either time. Now, I've decided to do it every day I have class.

I'm hoping I can get the point where I can run 2 miles in that course without my body feeling like it wants to tear itself apart, but the more important goal for now is to lose weight.

I also discovered a prototype plan for eating meals during the fall. Because of my continuing dissatisfaction with the university's dining hall, I decided to take things into my own hands and make my own meals. I have a Kashi granola bar for breakfast, a dining hall meal for lunch and a PBJ or two for supper. I bought some multi-vitamins to take in the morning so I can offset what is obviously a diet lacking in vitamins. I haven't decided if I want to buy some skim milk for myself or not just yet.

All in all, I'd say things are going well. Some people (I think) would rather have HRT as soon as possible, but I'm determined to lose weight and lose my facial hair before I even start that. If I can get to a point where I can pass without hormones, so much the better.

what's 'girl weight?'

Well for me, I'm thinking between 150 and 170 lbs. That's just an abitrary figure I came up with.

Running is an excellent idea. Brisk walking for 45 min on an incline is a better idea imho as it builds glutes and burns fat to boot. Oxygen mag. is an excellent source for both recipes and exercise advice. Love that mag as it is way better than traditional mens mags in this regard. I've lost nearly 100 pounds taking their advice. I will say that that only thing I really did was do aerobic exerice for 1 hour per day, not running, some pilates and some yoga. I also ate about 1000 to 1200 calories per day for over 6 months. Of course, you have to get proper nutrition and most people have to eat more than 1500 calories/day. Also, I don't recommend doing lots of abdominal crunches. They thicken the midsection which is counter to what we want. Core building pilates and yoga works great to build a lean, athletic sensual body. But this is all just my opinion.

That would depend on your height.  I am 5' 10" and 145 lbs.  But I don't want to gain any weight.  Just boobs and a butt.

Awesome, that's good that you're staying motivated to keep working out. I wish I could stay motivated like that. LOL I should exercise more, although I try and walk and do some stuff.

That's my target range. i'm 5'10" too, or maybe just a tic more...and I want to be in the 140's when I'm done. (though I actually want to maybe make some allowance for the breasts one way or another...either get down to 140 and then have room for it or take a few pounds off after they are there by whatever means....assuming the distant dream of actually having them comes true)
