A snippet from a most *incredible* day...

My wife brought the daughter of a friend over to meet Kate tonight. She's a very pretty and boy-crazed teenager. My wife explained what I was doing, so she'd know what to expect.

She was cool when we met, though it was a little awkward in the beginning. I found out later why.

She told my wife that she got totally confused when she walked in, as she saw a "a girl sitting on the couch... and she was pretty. Her hair, face, everything..." but couldn't figure out where Kate was. She said she was expecting to see a half-female/male kinda person, so she didn't know who the girl was on the couch, and where I was, lol.

This whole day has been like that. I whined and pleaded for validation for so long, and suddenly I'm just drowning in it, from everyone, everywhere. I just... can't... believe it...

Tink... now honestly... you have to tell.  Unfortunately, all my intuition has dried up today.

I've been pushing myself all week working 16 hour days.  And tonight I have the most beautiful instrument I've ever made set up ready to soak up some ancient photons from distant galaxies.  And here's the good part.. this one is MINE!  I hope the clouds part and I get some clear sky.

I found my missing drill bit this morning to my drill bit set.  I hadn't seen it for about a year or more and thought it was permanently lost.  It was also an uncommon size, so buying a replacement wasn't a viable option.

Also, Rashelle has been watching out for my health lately.  It's so nice to know somebody cares about me.
