I wrote in an earlier post that I had finished writing my profile for a new job possibility....  Well, I had my phone interview on Monday evening and did not feel very good about it (There were 8 people on the other end of the line that I had to impress). But the nice thing about it was that a friend of mine who is on the search committee called and left a message on my voice mail that was very encouraging. I'm not sure how objective he can be but I'm posting it here because it was indeed "something wonderful" for him to call and reassure me.

I'll know if I get a face to face interview by the end of the month.

Yes it is wonderful to know you have friends who care enough to call.

I got 3 unsolicited compliments yesterday, which is a record.  Today I had almost every guy I walked by ogling me (and even a few that were driving).  I'm really liking just having my hair down, which is what changed recently.  Oh, plus my waist is getting quite small from the waist training which I have it cinched in.  In fact, without punching more holes, I actually can't go any smaller until I get my corset (which should be very soon).  My clothes I have been wearing show my curves off too.  All these factors seem to be getting me great results. :)

I'm so excited....

My baby set up my 5.1 speakers this weekend for me.  I ordered them and they sat on the porch all day waiting for him.  I cracked a rib in an accident earlier this last week so I wasn't up to much.  But now I've got mucho sound and an earth shattering bass.  Oh my, it's all too sensual!

Gee Cindi - I hope your rib is ok and you can not feel the vibration in them.

I have been missing chatting to you - hope you are well.

A guy (a stranger, but who does unfortunately know I'm TS) told me he thinks I'm pretty :)

"I love your nose... your eyes are so pretty... I love your hair... you have a nice smile..."

Oh please, DO go on, lol...

I never, ever thought I'd hear someone (besides people who love me) say that to me. OMG, it just made me melt inside...

Oh my, I could SO get used to this...

Pushing through a hard run in hot and humid weather.  I felt pretty lousy afterward, but a couple of bottles of Gatorade later all was well.

Today, I weigh less than I have in about the last 8 or 9 years. ;D  I even weigh less than Rashelle now, who is about 4 inches shorter than me. :icon_woowoo:

Oh yeah, and I got another tattoo.

We've had a nasty heat wave for the past several weeks.  I went out last night, late just before bed, as I always do to take a brief look at the stars.  I was chilled!

I opened all the windows in the house to let that fresh cool air in.  I slept like a baby.  So did the pups.  This morning I was greeted by a fresh breeze and a cool morning.  Here we are in August and have a beautiful and comfortable day.  I got out to the shop and I've been a whirlwind of cleaning.  Now that's something that doesn't happen very much!

I had my yearly review for work today... and it went REALLY well! I was a little worried, as I transitioned at work over this last year. I asked my boss, "So, was my transition as uneventful as I promised it'd be?"

She shrugged and joked, "What transition?" adding, "besides, it's not like it has anything to do with your job or performance anyway." Is that cool or what?

I had only one complaint: I only got a 3.5 out of 4 for CREATIVITY/ADAPTABILITY. Without me saying a word, we both looked at each other and started laughing at the same time over that, lol... "OK, OK," she conceded, "but I can only rate work-specific things, lol."

Two wonderful things!!

I had a meeting with HR yesterday afternoon and it was decided that T-day will be September 4th, 2007!!  I'll take a week off before that date so the rest (best) of my life starts on Saturday, August 25th!

I had the most wonderful birthday in decades today!  Spouse and I went shopping, I got a really nice new wig and we had dinner at the Red Lobster.  Spouse gave me a beautiful card and an even more beautiful locket.  I was so moved I broke into tears!  We ran into one of her cousins at one of the stores and she accepted me right away, at least, after I told her who I was because she didn't recognize me!  HA! (Maybe I should have said three things?)

hugs and smiles (another year older but the alternative was unacceptable)

I have been working on a contract installing a new PA system in an auditorium.  I have done many of these jobs, but this was the most specialized, complex, and technologically advanced one I have ever designed.  My team has worked long hours over the last week and none of us has had much sleep.  Today we had our first showing of the system to the client and they were blown away with how nice it all sounds and the flexibility of it.  They were flabbergasted.  Then I brought in some members of my band and we did a mini concert to show off what it can do.  It not only sounds incredible, but will nearly blow the roof off when cranked.  The project is coming in on time and under budget.  I'm totally exhausted but really pumped.

Bench pressed 120, which has been a goal for a while. And, a massage therapist said my shoulders were "really built up". It's great having the last 6 months of working out showing some benefits, but the even better part for me is finally having a body that I want to work on.

I could barely do 105 even before HRT.  Congrats. :)
