I had a wonderful day yesterday - and my neigbours are so understanding - they called me over for a drink when I came home as Alice yesterday.

Hi Alice. Just want to say, "CONGRATULATIONS!"  I know how something like that can mean so much in ones humble beginnings.

selegne (my s.o.) & i have decided to go our separate ways.  this is wonderful because she's been seeing someone (a guy) and so have i.  grs is in fact a pandora box.  we're both happy though so that's what counts!

According to a document I just received from the state, I was actually BORN as "Kate Marie."

I KNEW IT!

3.5 weeks to get it!

Interestingly, they included this looooong letter explaining why they couldn't change the sex yet - odd since I ONLY requested the name change, knowing I need SRS first. But it's nice to see the process explained officially.

Are you serious?  How is that possible?  Unless you're saying that the state went so far as to change the records of your birth?

Some places are sufficiently enlightened to change birth records when appropriate. Britain had to be taken to the EU Human Rights Commission, but they finally do it, after you jump through their hoops. All provinces in Canada will, and some states will.

And congrats Kate :)

Yep! Well... at least as far as my PA Birth Certificate now says Kate Marie... ;)

It IS kinda bizarre, isn't it? Like some science fiction movie where someone's past is literally rewritten...

I have just bought my plane tickets for the Netherlands.  I'm leaving on December 12.  I'm very excited.  It's been quite a few months since I don't see my family.

I thought that was so cool. I didn't like the first photo I got on my first drivers license as Cynthia . But the change is like, "holy smokes!" is that me. Yep? it is, horse grin and all.

I had my first successful Metaphysics and Fantasy Surrey BC meetup group yesterday. It was a wonderful evening meeting with new people and discussing things of like minds. This was on the heals from a couple of days ago meeting with a very wonderful lady from this group.  It feel s wonderful to be in circulation again with other people and making new friends.

"Hee, hee" Fancy that huh, 5' 7" When I was my other self I had 5' 6' the safest measurement I could  fake. Then when I went for my new drivers license as Cindy I discovered I was only 5' 3" now what would you make of that after all the years I had convinced myself being 5' 6" Anyway I m happy for you  Chris. Maybe try putting a little fertiliser in your porridge.
