If you'd gotten an A, you need to be spanked.

Our trip to America that was supposed to take place the week of Easter has been changed and now we must leave for the States on the third week of January.  We will be going to three different States (Colorado, Arizona, California) so its time to pack.  Maybe not just yet. Tee-hee!

Well, allow me to welcome you to Arizona ahead of time Yvonne!!! :) :) :)

(stay out of downtown Phoenix, it's a bloody mess with the "light rail system" going in :( )

On Saturday night, I performed in a concert.  Our group did very well and we were given a spontaneous standing ovation twice.  It's a good feeling to feel appreciated.  I love to play music.

That's great Cindi.  I'm glad you had a great time.  I also had a wonderful weekend.  We went to Monterey and stayed there since Saturday morning.  Then we went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium.  My God, it has been remodeled since the last time I was there.  There are new species of fish, but the world famous two-headed snake is still there, getting old, all by herself in her cage.  Needless to say, it was really difficult to go to work this morning but I survived the day...  ;D

Congrats Cindi and Tink. The highlight of the weekend here was house cleaning. My moods are  bit down but I'll be ok once January gets here. The daylight hours will begin to go the other way then.

Other then that I spend most of my time on this computer.

I had my first ride on my bike today for about 6-7 months. It is wonderful to be back on the bike and feeling good again. I am hoping I can build up to a level where I will be able to ride with the bunch again. Going on this first ride is should not take to long.

:D

Wing Walker and I just spent a quiet time just reminiscing about Christmas Holidays past, and sharing our love for one another.

A new canine friend came to live with me this past weekend. She's absolutely beautiful and she loves me.  I've spent 4 days totally immersed in her company.  We've played all day long.

Hubby took the other two pups away for the week so I could help our new friend adjust to her new surroundings.  She's been in lockup for two years. She was feisty and had a real nasty habit of biting prospective "owners".

When I went to pick her up, the SPCA rep brought her out on a leash.  She could barely hold on to her.  Cassie (the dog), was jumping back and forth yanking the poor lady nearly off her feat.  I sat down to meet her and she promptly bit my hand drawing a copious amount of blood.  I grabbed the nape of her neck and put her down on the ground.  I soothed her some and took her for a short walk.  As we walked up the road, I explained to Cassie that was inappropriate behaviour.  I also told her that she would behave on a leash.  When we returned, she was an angel on the leash.  In fact, she is better than one of my other "trained" canine friends.

Poor kennel lady had dealt with this dog for two years.  Unable to get rid of her, she had resigned herself that Cassie would be living there for the remainder of her life.  She was amazed to see her settle down like she did.  Frankly, I was as well.

She's turned into a real cuddle bunny.  She loves to cuddle and sit on my lap (all 40 pounds of her).  Although our yard is "fenced" (a requirement to adopt), it wouldn't keep any animal in.  She's been pretty good about sticking around the house.

I'm so thrilled to have her here.  I'm liking life today.

Awesome, Cindy!  So glad Cassie has a new loving home.  You did just right and now she knows her place and feels secure there.  Great job, and congratulations!  You have just given her a happy life.
