Cindy: Try the link now.  Rumor has it that Pentax is going to introduce a consumer model at next months Photokina.  It's supposed to be less expensive than the prosumer models out now so maybe something to look forward to.  Otherwise watch for some of the K10s and K100s going up for sale as people upgrade to K20s and K200s.

Cindi:  I definitely want to see some of your work.  Especially since you live in one of the more photogenic areas of the US.

Alice:  Glad to see your getting better sweetie.

Bev, I would love to hear your comparison of a film SLR with a digital SLR.  I find it hard to retire my Nikon for digital.

Alice, it's great to see you back!

Today I went full time.

Hi Chaunte, congratulations on starting full time. Quite a liberating feeling isn't it. I will send a prayer that all will go well in your new life.

Hi BeverlyAnn, thanks for giving your pic thingie a good kick in the back bumper, it works fine now. Wow! that is some realy fantastic scenes of Ireland. I didn't even know before that there was still so much open land over there. Some of the scenes with the fields and rows of trees separating them reminds me of how Quebec looks like in the Ottawa valley area. Those lakes are fascinatingly beautiful. I can't wait to get me a decent camera.

Below is a few pictures I had posted in the photo sharing thread here on Susan's. Pics I took here around Vancouver .

Thank you Bev, Dennis & Cindy.  I was planning an declairing "full time" at sunrise 6:22 local time, which is about when I normally wake up.  I was looking at all the metaphores about the sun rising on my real life.

I was up at 1 AM.  I didn't realize just how excited I must have been.

It was a quiet day.  Did some planning and computer work for school.  Worked in my classroom this evening.  Made lunch plans with a girlfriend for this Wednesday.  A nice day settling into my skin.

Is that a hint to post some Ireland pics?  How about these Ireland pics.

I did post a new pic in the Nature section called "Evening Glory".  One that I've entered for consideration in an online gallery.  A gallery that's quite difficult to get a picture accepted into.

Beverly

Thanks Bev. I must post some too.

I can't tell you how disappointed I am that you didn't announce it in Klingon :P

Today the love of my life and I celebrate 25 years of marriage.

This morning she gave me my first diamond because, "All girls want a diamond".

The symbolism of an engagement ring at this point in our life together is certainly not lost on me.

It's called ATTITUDE,

And Chaunte, congratulations.  May all of this be a non-event.

I was at my aunt's house hanging out with my family and my aunt and I were arguing (well..just picking at each other really. LOL it was nothing malicious), and my mom says to me "Jeez, you argue just like a woman". Then she stopped for a second and says "What am I saying? you ARE a woman."  ;D I died laughing. I start my name change process this week too. WOO HOO!!!  :)

Hi Laura91 hon, I can feel your energy radiating way out here.  ;D Well I have not forgotten all those things that made me feel so good when I started transitioning. I continued to have many wonderful experiences afterwards as well. I agree with Robyn much depends on attitude, Personality also goes well with attitude. I believe much of both will change as you proceed on your journey through transitioning if you allow it to. The longer on HRT the more changes and not just the physical part either.

I went to the NYS Festival of Balloons in Dansville today.  Beautiful balloons!  Spent too much time in the sun without a cover.  Hopefully got some good shots - have to get the film processed tomorrow.

But!  Best of all is that I was ma'am'ed the entire day!  I must be doing something right.  Must be that attitude-thing Robyn & Cindy are talking about. :D

And thank you, Robyn.  Between the DNC & GOP conventions PLUS Gustav about to slam into New Orleans, I am going to be a minor story that is soon forgotten.

Cindy,
I have already been praying.  I hope that there is no one from our happy family is in the path.  And I pray that it misses New Orleans.  Those folks down there have had enough.

I glad that Nate is OK after what Florida got hit with.
