No, they just have revision surgeries to pull 'em back up (boom-tish).

I don't think it's about the tech. I think it's got to do with the number of people wanting surgery of this type, vs the number of doctors performing it.
There just isn't as big a market for FTM top surgery as there is for breast implants. Smaller niche market. fewer surgeons, higher prices.
I could image it'd be hard to start offering TS surgery. TS people talk... a lot. We tend to stick to two or three big names in surgery and treat any unheard of surgeon as extremely dodgy until proven otherwise.
This hammering of a few surgeons can't be helping the prices, either.
I'm not saying it's "our fault" or knocking it - we just like proven results. It's perfectly normal.
There's only one surgeon on my side of my country (non-us) that I know of - and top surgery is still much cheaper than in the US... so I could be talking out my ass
