I answered 50/50, but didn't we have a poll like this not too long ago?
Don't be scared to fly alone, find a path that is your own
Love will open every door it's in your hands, the world is yours
Don't hold back and always know, all the answers will unfold

People I don't know surprise me.

I seem to pass well enough despite my voice, but there are many times nobody really has to refer to me in the third person when talking to me so I'm not sure about those.

I pretty much pass all the time with people I don't know. Except a few weeks ago in a shop when I was crouched down looking at something on a low shelf and the security guard said "thanks love" when I shuffled out the way for him to get past. I must crouch/shuffle like a girl.

Extraordinarily rarely.
Though at target yesterday this one guy looked shocked when he got a good look at my glasses(I can't get new ones until the insurance kicks in again...Which sucks, 'cause I can't see with or without them right now!)
Baggy sweaters that hide your chest FTW!

I'll get an older person calling me "boy" if they didn't hear me talk. Again, rare (mainly 'cause I talk to myself too much. I'm not that nutty, right? lol). Stupid chest.

When i wear a frog bra, a vest, and i don't speak (hard for me i can assure you lmao) then i get stared at HARD before people (mainly employees of various stores who approach for the "how can i help you" speech) decide to use no labels.

Then i speak and it's usually "ma'am" or "miss"  :(

People walking by occasionally stare or look twice. I passed better in the fifth grade than i do now lmao - i remember running around with friends and hearing people say "is that a guy or a girl?!" and i thought it was cool as hell.

*sigh*

Still waiting for my referrals.....

I'm actually surprised my mother hasn't said anything yet - when i've got a vest or baggy sweater on over the Frog i look flat. She usually can't keep her mouth shut about stuff like that (she comments "oh, that looks too small around your chest honey" when i wear too tight shirts to bed....)

I donno, before T I woulda been thrilled to have nothing over a 'ma'am'. At least then in my head I could say I passed.

Random adults see me as a guy just by looks, for example one lady said "oh he (me) has the time, ask him". I also get "what's up dude" at some clothing stores by the sales people. At school I don't pass because mostly everybody already knows me, but some people admit to being confused by my gender before they met me.

I pass 98% percent of the time all of a sudden, a few months ago it was about 50/50 but now I pass all the time and people think that I am actually the age that I actually am. Haha I don't really know what happened all of a sudden but yeah, it's awesome .
Call me a cheat but I make my own fate.

And no testosterone?

None. I have reasons to believe I naturally produce more than average, though. My avatar is me today, and probably very similar to how I looked at the beginning of my transition, facewise at least. Absolutely no vitamins, hormones, nada. Just a binder and a haircut.

That's pretty lucky then. Glad it works for you.

Yeah. Dunno, you look 100% passable in your avatar. Then again, just a pic and just a profile, but that's my opinion. Might wanna clean up the details on the haircut though. Pay close attention and there are loads of little details that you can easily change to help you pass. I've really got to start that blog about it...I've meant to for a long time now.

Thanks. Yeah, I started cutting my own hair and it's not perfect. Hey, if you start a blog send me a link then. You can't on this site (no space) or tgspot.com (bug) though.

I cut my own hair as well, don't worry, practice definitely helps. And straight hair must be infinitely more difficult, so kudos for tackling that.

Sure thing, may as well get on it right now. Ain't vacation for nothing. I remember when an older member on here started a topic about his similar blog, so I think there are ways to get around it. I'll ask the mods. And if you ever need to talk, feel free to PM and ask for other ways of communication, since I'm on Susans's very sporadically. That goes for any lurkers reading this conversation as well. :) I need to have more ftm friends.

Almost never.  Especially when I speak.

But now and again people get me right because of the way I dress (shirts and waistcoats FTW)
