Eliminating the uni-boob?

I have a bit of a problem. My chest is a small B/large A and I have an Underworks tri-top. I've had it since July. It binds well overall, but almost as soon as I put it on, I get the uni-boob. No matter which way I pull them, up/down/out/whatever, within like 15 minutes they work their way back to the middle. I don't think you can really tell because my chest is pretty passable, even with the uni-boob. But it really bugs me. Could my binder be worn out already? I wear it no more than 5 days a week for like 10 hours max. Lately I haven't been wearing it much at all because I've been around the house. Anyway, has anyone else has this problem and do you know of any ways to fix it? Thanks for your help!!

I found I had to give them a good 2 days really to let the elastic get back its tightness [obviously I had a couple to cycle though] and even then after a couple hours they'd tend to drift back to the middle.  Really all I could come up with to do was to re-situate them as far up/apart to opposite sides as possible whenever I could.  (best way i could find to do it was to lift/"pull" up and out from each armpit... its most efficient and looks more like you've got an itch rather than that you're messing about with boobs)

For me even just the feeling of them up against each other would drive me almost to a breaking point... I have [or I suppose had] no qualms about readjusting myself in public.  I find with that sort of thing no one really notices what you're doing unless you make it look like you're doing something they ought not to be noticing.  Especially if its an action they aren't used to seeing.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

Remember, it's manly to "adjust" yourself.  ;D  (Okay, okay, so not in the chesticle area, but still)

Yeah, I hate the uni-boob thing too.  I don't have a binder yet, but I get it with sports bras (the ONLY kind of bra I'm willing to wear).

I think uni-moobness is almost a given when you squish them from all sides.....

I just wear a vest over my clothes now and that hides the uni look pretty well. Actually hides everything pretty well and i'm a D cup (ugh.) Button down shirts and "active" clothes (instead of plain solid colors) help too. I also heard you can wear a regular bra (ick) under the binder to keep the moobs in the spot their supposed to be....

I design binders, and I have not figured out anything to fix this without sacrificing binding capability or the binding looking like a bra through clothing. Wearing an Underworks binder makes the uniboob thing even worse cause flesh can slide pretty easily under the mesh, so it's hard to keep things where they should be. If you're good with a needle, I can give you the design I'm currently using. Used it for a year and still going. I am very sure it's not going to break or lose capability until I physically lose the binder.

Share the wealth, man. I'm handy with a needle, but not with the designing part (alright, so maybe I'm just lazy. lol.)

On topic; Medical tape. I pull mine down and out; if you were doing this you could use a single piece of tape on either side - diagonal across the nipples, from the inside top down and out, so the other end is on your ribs. It also helps stop the horrible irritation of your nipples rubbing on fabric - and from showing through, if you don't wear layers.

So it's pretty rough, and I didn't write down exactly all the measurements you need to take because a lot of it is up to you and where you want to place seams, how long you want the binder to be, how much compression you need, body shape, etc. Rather too complicated to write down, but common sense figures it out. You can use shoelaces for the lacing. They're very durable/strong and get the job done.

Yeah, mine do that too- even with a brand new binder. I'm with GnomeKid and do everything he does. Shift it when you can. When you have dense breasts this is what happens. :-\

Lay flat on your back, Reach down the neckline and tug 'em up and out to the sides.

It might be time for a smaller binder perhaps?

Also - positioning is important. Stick 'em in your underarm area (or as close as you can get if they're "perky").

Thanks for the replies everyone!! I wish I could use your advice Sam, but I'm not crafty at all lol. Cody, I've never heard about the medical tape before, I'm going to have to try that. I tried the laying on your back thing and it didn't help, and I don't think I need a smaller binder because this one compresses them well, they just move around a lot. I will definitely try the medical tape thing and hopefully it will work. Thanks again for all the advice!!
