How to:- Self Esteem, Confidence and Well being

Hello guys,

Well I didn't know if this was the best place for this but I thought it was very much related to your health.

I have extremely low self esteem and self worth and confidence to boot!

I have been looking on the internet and can't really see anything helpful there other than programs which you have to pay for which I can't afford. I have tried hypnotic cd's and found that they didn't work.. 

So can anyone give me a guidance on how I can improve it? Programs or something as I am getting very upset about it now..

I have had some counselling in relation to confidence and esteem issues.  Even email counselling can help.

At some point you have to say to the rest of the world, "I'm me, I will live to my values and I care not a jot what you think.   I will live my life as I see fit, to my percieved gender and to my values.   If you cannot live with me as I am, then you are not worth my attention'.

This can be difficult with family members.   I have yet to come out to my family as I fear their reaction and I do not want to lose them.   I keep putting off telling them but I know that some day soon it will be inevitable.   It is a question of courage and a willingness to let them go if they cannot live with your true gender.

I am still discreet about the true me.   I tell those who need to know and no others.

Be strong, be yourself and live your life.

Quit beating yourself up and instead, be honest.
There are things you're good at. There are things "everyone" are good at.
Find one, damned if others are "better" at it, and be proud of it.

Learn how to "act" as if you're the biggest, baddest, most intelligent man around. Learn to walk lie a king amongst pawns, and you'll be good, even if you don't learn how to be confident.

I find that making small goals and meeting them help me out.
