Other than showing up after a long 14-hour night shift, and then finding out they put me in with the NP instead of my doc (and I specifically asked for the doc!), they had to scramble and rearrange appointments so I could be seen and there was a wait... ack.

Anyway it went well.  She will work with me, get me the tests and stuff necessary prior to my lower surgery (therapists letters etc already accounted for), and will find me a urologist for post-op care.

No one in the office batted an eye, though they did call me by my F name (I hadn't finished the new paperwork yet).  That part sucked.  Now to get my endo to fax all my recent blood tests over there.

Last place I needed to come out.  I hope!!!

Yay!  Good for you, Jay! :eusa_dance:

My doctor's office was very good switching my name once I gave them the papers.  I hope the same good experience for you. :icon_flower:

*congratulatory punch on the shoulder (even if I don't do it right)*

rawr (congrats)

my primary "care" idiot so far refuses to as much as do blood draws, not less treat me anymore for anything, instead referring me to phs for my well defined via ultrasound cyst. (phs only does psych work)

Good for you, Jay.

Once your paperwork is complete you should be free and clear.
