KALAMAZOO — Five months after Kalamazoo voters approved protections for gay, lesbian and transgender individuals from discrimination in housing, jobs and public accommodations, the city has yet to receive its first complaint.

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety, meanwhile, reports no formal complaints about so-called cross-gender bathroom use.
