KALAMAZOO — Five months after Kalamazoo voters approved protections for gay, lesbian and transgender individuals from discrimination in housing, jobs and public accommodations, the city has yet to receive its first complaint.

In fact, Kalamazoo City Manager Kenneth Collard is still working on developing a complaint form and an investigation process. 

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety, meanwhile, reports no formal complaints about so-called cross-gender bathroom use.
