I am, unfortunately, unable to bind. Well... I should say, I can bind but the results are just a smaller, squished, but still large and recognizably feminine bustline. Even losing a lot of weight has never significantly reduced these stupid things. Ever since I was afflicted by them at puberty, I've been unhappy about my body. Prior to that I could at least dress in a masculine way and pass; after that, not a chance.

Anyway. Because of this, I'm eager to get top surgery as soon as it is feasibly possible. I'm looking into Dr. Brownstein. I haven't contacted him yet, although I plan on doing so soon. I need to figure out how much money I need to save up, I think I'm really close, but I'm not sure. I'm probably not going to be able to have someone go with me, which means I'd need to stay in a post-op recovery place for a couple of days, so I'm factoring that into the over all cost.

If I could, I would do this in early December. That would be ideal for me, for so many reasons.

I'm hoping that folks who've done this surgery (with Dr. Brownstein or with anyone else for that matter) could share what kinds of costs I need to look at, so I can arrange my budget accordingly as I plan this out.
