My choices are not really on there.  I work as a contract employee for several groups from local arts non-profits, to huge multi-national entertainment conglomerates like movie and TV production stuff, LiveNation, and AEG.  I also work for radio stations, the City, and huge conventions.  On top of that I do contract research work and writing on my own, and also shoot houses for sale for local real estate agents.

Streams of income - the modern way to work.

Kat, I would probably say that you are self employed, or own your own business-yourself!

Yeah, in part, but the other part is flat-out trade union work.

self employed...
been a student,
a govt employee of sorts (Shh can't talk about that),
worked for small companies,
worked for big companies,

Just about the only thing I have never actually been is unemployed. (I came close once or twice but something always turned up).

I voted for disabled as I am currently on unemployment, but applied for SSDI.
