I like the suggestion that you eat celery right before heading out.  I used to hate the stuff, but it's because its often really stringy and tough.  Good crisp celery is a whole other thing.  With cream cheese.

I like celery but I hate it when it gets all stringy.
I have no concrete idea of my gender identity, but I believe I am an Androgyne.

Ditto.

Also, too bad the existence of pheromones in humans is still unproven.

Just hate the fact that celery is really, really good at sticking itself between my teeth.

It takes more calories to digest celery than are in it, so eating it is like negative calories

So if you eat it while walking it's the ultimate diet food?

To avoid the nasty stringy bits use a potato pealer and peal away the ribbing (the outer skin don't worry about the underside of the stalk), then chop and serve with the dressing of your choice. Mmmmm. :D

Nah, the skin is not a problem. The strings are throughout it.

Whatever happened to flavorful, non-stringy celery, anyway? The stuff we get nowadays is horrible. I remember liking celery when I was a kid, and I didn't gag on the strings like I do now (if I don't remove them).

Hmm. Gotta do something about that gag reflex. Maybe I should practice on some celery...

How did you look even more handsome as a guy than me, transgendered and all?
You look like Robert Pattison.

<I'm in my avatar, pre-cutting my hair off, and I don't even look that handsome as a guy.

I guess I'm the only one who doesn't get stringy celery. :P yeah there are some kind of stringy bits all throughout but the only ones that really bothered me were in the skin which I'd peal off. Then it's all good. :P

*snort*

And did you eat it with peanut butter and raisins ala Ants on a Log? I didn't notice the stringiness and aftertaste that much when it was smothered in that stuff...
