So yesterday was my birthday, and one of my friends called me tonight saying she was on her way to the bar right around the corner from me, and she would buy me a couple drinks if I met her there. Awesome.

I ended up seeing an old friend from middle school there (who I dated for a couple weeks in 8th grade) and kicked his ass playing pool. It's probably been 10 years since we've seen each other, and totally connected again like no time had passed.

I ended up getting a ride home from the friend who invited me out, and she starts giving me crap about supposedly flirting with Cam. So maybe I was a little. He's hot. It happens.  She ends up making some reference to me being bi, and in my drunken state decide I need to correct her, and tell her everything.

So now she knows about me identifying as male, and going by Kyle, and my ex-girlfriend reffering to me as her boyfriend. I told her about how I almost went on testosterone and wanting top surgery, and explained GRS and how making a penis doesn't work nearly as well as making a vagina, and she was totally cool with it.  She didn't seem all that surprised, and said that she has always guessed that I was the guy in all the relationships I have been in.  She even seemed to understand Androgynous genderqueer!

And then the conversation just moved on, no big deal. I'm out to another person I've known for over 10 years.

That's great to hear.  :) It feels good when you're acknowledged as yourself. I wish more people were like them.

Haha... Yeah.  I've slurred my way into giant messes a few times before. She called me a lesbian last night though, and I just couldn't let that slide.
