Great Experience in Short Shorts

Good Morning Everyone,

I haven't really introduced myself properly before so I'll give a quick intro here.  My name is Amy and currently if I had to define myself I would fall into the catergory of cross dresser but would like to go further in the future.  I also have an extremely supportive wife.  We are definately the perfect match for each other.

Around the house I usually wear short shorts especially during the summer.  Last Friday evening we decided to take the kids to look for birthday invitations and stop off and get a special snack.  I didn't really have any intention of getting out of the car because they were not going to be long at either store so I didn't bother to get changed.  The shorts I had on had only enough inseam to keep everything properly covered but that was about it.  The t-shirt that I was wearing just about covered them completely so it almost looked like I wasn't wearing anything.

To this point I had been having a little bit of trouble with the car battery going dead over night but never after I had run the car for any length of time.  We got to 7-11 for drinks and a snack and during the 5 minutes my wife and kids were in the car the battery went completely dead without any reason.  At that point I had a choice to either walk a half mile down the road and buy a new battery or call my parents for a jump start.  Calling my parents was not really an option as it would have opened up a can of worms that we just didn't want to deal with.  So instead my daughter and I walked to the auto parts store to buy a new battery.  Not only did I not even get so much as a second look from anyone but the guy from the auto parts store gave us a ride back to the car, jump started it for us so we could take it back to the store and then he changed the battery out for me.

I think the most nerve wracking part of the experience was the actual realization that no matter what I was getting out of the car.  But once I was out of the car it was great and the people were fantastic about it.  Side note I live about 35 miles east of NYC so I really wasn't expecting such a good reaction.  And although I don't think I will purposely wear that particular pair of shorts out in public again (just really short) I certainly won't worry about wearing much short shorts than I have been.

I love short shorts too.  I am wearing them much more frequently this summer than anytime in the past.  I would prefer skirts to shorts but I know the world isn't quite ready for that yet.

My wife and I were at Target last weekend, and she picked out some hot green short shorts for herself. When I asked her where mine were, she grinned, laughed, and suggested I get the hot pink. Someday, she'll understand that tempting me like that was a bad idea! LOVE me some short shorts!

I am not quite sure how short is too short, but most of my short pants are too tight. I am thinking baggy short pants this summer.

I also LOVE short shorts AND Miniskirts.  I have a pair of hot pink shorts which fit me perfectly, and recently bought a pair of torn shorts (love that look!) which are so tight and so short they're obscene, and this would be the case no matter who was wearing them.  The former could be worn in public, if I was daring, while the latter have to stay inside.   😮

I don't mind short shorts, but I think you have to be picky when it comes to the material.  Some short shorts ride up while others a fairly comfortable.  Make sure you test them out and find what works for you.  🙂

I would say so.  I just bought another pair of shorts last night from Walmart.  Really cute with button close front pockets and 1" inseam.  Although I do have to be somewhat careful. 

Having a lot of issues with my sisters and parents because they are more than a little whacked in the head and suffer from lots of extreme jealousy.  They are all miserable and none of them are happy unless they are making those around them miserable too.  So I can only imagine how they would grab onto anything out of the norm to make my life miserable.  But all is good because my wife and I are planning to move several states away from them to get away from all the silliness.  I can only imagine the freedom.  🙂

I would say so.  I just bought another pair of shorts last night from Walmart.  Really cute with button close front pockets and 1" inseam.  Although I do have to be somewhat careful. 

I am not quite sure how short 1" inseam is, but my shortest one seems to have 2" inseam:

My parents and wife seem to think that the short denim pants is just as short as other my short pants, no particular reaction. Just once one of my female neighbors complained to my wife that I have better be nude rather than wearing that short pants
