Issue Using Women's Wallets in Boy Mode?

This morning, while I was shopping at Target, I decided to purchase a wallet from the women's department to switch out my currently used wallet.  The old one is an standard man's wallet.  The new is a black square wallet with white stitching, but much thicker than my last one.  I am wondering if it might be an issue when I purchase items at the cash register, in boy mode.  Has anyone had any issues with feminine wallets and purchasing at the cash register?

As long as your money is green and the plastic in good, Cashiers could care less.

I don't personally like wallets. They seem too much of a target to be honest.

But I would have thought the difference between a male wallet and a female is the male's is designed to fit into a pocket while female is designed for a handbag.

One of my own favourites, which I sometimes use when traveling, is a small pouch that fits onto by belt. It can hold loads and hides behind my jacket. Not a bum-bag, as such. More square but with a good zipper.

Perhaps it's a matter of personal taste.

Totally agree with Janet. I use a female wallet all the time. As Spacial pointed out the only difference is that they are designed to fit into a handbag. In MM I wear a bum-bag and it goes into there. I no longer carry anything in trouser/jean pockets, it just feels unnatural now ::).

I have also used my credit cards (often) as Cindy, and the name on them is not; as long as the signature looks OK the cashiers don't even blink, and the cab drivers are so use to TG people that they don't care either.
BTW the last time I was in a cab as Cindy he couldn't find my friend's address, I told him it was OK I would get out and walk. No way he said, I'll make sure you get to the address safely, another gentleman  .

About 7 years ago, I purchased a pair of black high heels at wal-mart in man mode, and at that time, my hair was short and I wore men's clothes.

The cashier was an aged man, calling me as "Mr.". There were other customers behind me, and nobody cared what I picked up.

Even I purchased white thongs in boy mode, and the lady cashier asked me whether they are for me, and I just did not reply  ;D, as it is not her business.

Just do it.

couldn't understand why anybody will want to buy woman's wallet...thick bulky and so full of pockets an ant can get lost in it..while a woman's wallet is designed for the handbag and not for your backpocket, man's wallet is slim enough to go into the back pocket AND you can also slip it into a handbag if you want....
so for that very practical reason i always stick to man's wallet!

I like that a women's wallet allows you to carry coins in it, and that it has space to put receipts.  My old wallet was tearing at the seams, so I thought I would get something that would be practical and fun to use.  I wanted to be sure I didn't draw too much attention.

This morning, I returned to Target to return a few items using my new wallet, and I didn't have any issues with the cashier.  The same with me going to Pavilions.  So far, so good.  :)

No one cares what the money comes out of, as long as you're handing it to them.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

Here is the purse/wallet that I've got my eye on.   It is available in black as well.  I might get both as the black is male at first glance and the discreet flowers make girlie.

Stephanie, those are cute. I like the pink one.  :)  This is the wallet I purchased. (It's the Merona Photo Indexer.)

Velinda, your choice doesn't look that much different from the typical planner. I know plenty of guys who carry something similar.

On a personal note. I slimmed down to a business card carrier. A few biz cards, ID, credit cards, insurance card and cash. Fits in any pocket.

I have been using a woman's wallet for over 2 years now and have never had any comments made.  I always wear a junior's jeans and a guy's wallet doesn't really fit well in the pocket.  So I have to carry it either way.  I would rather have the extra room of the woman's wallet.
We were all born this way.  Don't let world stupidness to bring you down to its level.  Rise above and love yourself.   ;)

A good few years ago a friend of mine actually bought me a purse as a birthday present. Me being the Oxford dictionary definition of "bloke" I suppose it was all for a bit of a giggle, and to be blunt we'd always do silly stuff like this to each other all the time. The purse itself was overly feminine as was decorate with sugar sweet little animal designs and to be perfectly honest, i loved the bloody thing. As I happen to have a fondness for cute little things like that anyways, and frankly, the general layout of some of the pockets and hidey-holes within said purse were actually practical. And I used it for years until it eventually fell to pieces, literally...

Now I have a much more bland and masculine looking one. It's bulky, makes a terrible bulge in my pocket [trouser or coat] and generally has a rather uninspired design on it compared to it's rather flamboyant predecessor.

I think what I'm trying to get at here, is that if you actually find it both useful and appealing you yourself, I really wouldn't get too cut up about what other people think about what you're holding your loose change in really.

That and the purse actually made a rather neat little conversational piece. People would often ask me if that was a purse and why I was carrying it. Simply put, I'd just say it was awesome~
