i have a black small tritop binder. its great, except it seems the  collar is  so high, and i cant wear some shirts because it show the top/front of the binder and even the side around my shoulders. would it ruin it if i trimmed down the front a bit so it wasnt quite so high, same with the arms? (hopefully the front wouldn t tent out even more )  i cant stand wearing a tshirt and having the binder showing a bit, it really just makes me feel horrible =(

I have the same issue. It's not really fixable in my experience. Some guys have cut a small V in the top of it and sewed it back together there to make the part that sticks out go away. But that could also make the binder rip there if you don't sew it tight enough. I just wear a compression shirt over the binder to hide that little thing and if that doesn't work, baggier shirts. I hate it but it's what i gotta do.

I was wondering the same thing.
I saw a youtube video about a guy who said he cut of the seams of the top that show through a thin shirt &I think also cut a v in the front without sewing it... ill try to look for it.

Ok so I found it, its a video by gebus84 called FTM - Binder Stuff. You'll want to fast forward to 3:50, that's when he starts talking about the tritop.
