Excluding birth of course...

So I was really thinking on this, and I'm definitely going to start going out in public part-time over the next few months, mainly to friends houses, shoppingor just for a stroll somewhere.

But as far as when do I actually go 100%, drop my false name and identity and become the woman I was born...

November 12! It's the day I was actually born, I haven't celebrated a birthday in over 15 years, and in my mind I know the day of my surgery will forever be considered the day of my actual birth.

It'll finally allow my parents to celebrate my birthday and whichever of my brothers and sisters want to. And I'll actually WANT to acknowledge that day when it passes rather then hide out and turn my phone off.

And, it works with the timeline I have worked out. Oct 31st is when I'm going to go to work as Gabrielle for the first time to test the waters. Then for almost two weeks my managers can leave the information posted around work about what's going on and what ts is, then on my birthday I can be born into gabrielle!

Any thoughts? This sound good or bad?

I'm excited about the thought of it, if only I can convince myself to wait that long :P

Good luck, hope the wait until November doesn't drive you crazy (it would me).

I went fulltime officially (legal name change) last week, and I'm now out at work and with all my friends, although up til then I've been 99% fulltime anyway in everything except my name.  Even so it's been an enormous weight off my shoulders and I feel fantastic.  Everyone at work has been so supportive and so many people have said they've noticed a big difference in how happy and confident I am now.
