Me and My Mom Decided On My New Middle Name!

I know it probably seems stupid but I was so excited to have her actually helping me decide because sometimes she is accepting other times she avoids it like the plague and my ex fiancee also loved it. After 5 years I think she is a pretty good judge of whether it will fit. I have decided on Ryder as my middle name Other victories I talked to my ex fiancee tonight for the second time in the five months since she left me and this time it was civil almost friendly. The little victories lately have been oddly even better than the big ones. Yup, that's all. Sorry for the rant

Congrats!  My mom also picked my middle name, err, sort of.  My folks didn't know what kind of plumbing I'd have before I was born, so they prepared with a girl name and a boy name (which is actually gender-neutral, only they didn't know that then).  When I came out to my mom, having already started going by the masculine form of one of my potential girl names, she said she felt should have given me the boy name in the first place, so I'm tacking it on as a middle name for now.  I like it so much, I just might switch them if I legally change it!
