I need to start taking vitamins everyday, and i want to go with one a day, for teenagers.
But question is, is it safe to take the boys vitamin even though i'm not biologically a boy?
Here is the website: http://oneaday.com/teen_advantage.html

I don't see why it wouldn't be safe, but I'm no doctor.  I take Viactiv myself, but it comes in chewables that taste like chocolate so I love it.

Yeah, it's perfectly safe. The main safety difference between men's and women's supplements is that women's can safely include more iron - this one's no exception. If you're on T or any birth control that's stopped your periods or if you have a hysterectomy, it's actually better to avoid taking the women's versions because of the excess iron. Other than that...the difference seems to be that the boys get more of some of the B vitamins and magnesium while the girls get slightly more calcium. The B isn't a big deal at all - all the Bs have very low toxicity and are water-soluble. Lower calcium just means you have to get more from your diet. And I'm not at all sure why there's a gender difference for magnesium.

Thanks for that advice!  My birth control stopped my periods and I didn't know if I should make a change or not in vitamins.
