dr sanguan kunaporn good doctor for ffs?

hi everyone im bea from manila... im a newbie here and a lil confused with some details about smf but its really cool that transgendered people are giving a helpin hand to one another using this site..... im askin about docotor sanguan kunaporn, im planin to have forehead contouring surgery with him and so far i heard good reviews about his srs work... can anyone give me information about dr kunaporn specially about his srs procedures? dr chettawut from what i heard is really good but a lil pricier, on the other hand doctor kunaporn gave me an asessment for th procedure and its really afordable, for me that is .... please help me with my ordeal.... thank you girls, you all rock!!!

Bea, you get what you pay for.  This is your face and it's the first thing people see.  I have heard of Kunaporn but don't know much about him.  The doctors I hear the most positive reports are Suporn, Osterhout, Zukowski and Noorman Van der Dussen.  There are several others but these doctors seem to have the highest percentage of satisfied patients and do a lot of FFS procedures.   Try not to let price persuade your decision.  I have heard too many stories of botched surgeries that have left the patient worse off than if she never had surgery.

Hi Bea...

I had major FFS with Dr Suporn in 2001 and minor stuff with Dr Chettawut a few months ago.

Kunaporn is more renowned as an SRS surgeon than a facial specialist and uses a two stage technique for SRS where as both Suporn and Chet use a single stage Penile inversion.

Suporn did my SRS in 2002 and I have nothing but praise for his work and the kindness and sincerity of the man himself.

There are some bad surgeons in Thailand, offering cheap packages, so do your research well and talk to other people who have used them.

Hi Bea,

Dr Chettawut again is a lovely man and speaks perfect English. His wife Tair was equally nice and it was her who came everyday to see the patients.

I rate him highly, he is an up an coming surgeon and will challenge the better well known surgeons in the coming years. He has just put his prices up but as you say is still cheaper than Dr Suporn.

I had some good conversations with him about his technique and I saw first hand some of his results in Thailand which where very impressive.

He would be a good choice and has just updated his website.

Hiee Bea,

  I am scheduled to have Dr. Sanguan perform SRS on me next October. Outside of his web site photo's I have seen two private examples of his work via e-mailed photo's. One was shall I say scary looking and hopefully NOT indicative of his work and the other was very nice and a result that I personally would be very happy to have. One bad and one good. Its a hell of a way to make such an important decission . I do believe the Dr. Sanguan is one of the finest in the world but he obviously has his bad days, I just don't want to be the one under the knife on that day!

girls thanks for the reply... and brina good luck with the surgery .... im planing my trip this february and yes for sure dr sanguan is one of the finest in the field of srs... and he is a good person too, he helped alot of tsunami vitims in thailand.. im sure you'll be in good hands.... take care girls.....

The only Thai surgeon that I have heard good reports on re:FFS is Suporn. And I did a ton of research before deciding to have Dr. Ousterhout do my FFS. I am considering Kunaporn for SRS though.
