I love wearing hose or stockings with a skirt, but i always have to wear a top that has sleves.  My in denial state made me get a tatoo of a skull on my shoulder...............sure wish I hadn't done that!!!  >:(

I suppose my fashion depends on two things. What part of the year it is and what mood I'm in. Generally I prefer the youthful look. The twenty-something late eighties and early ninties clothes. Since I've been out more in public I've taken up a fancy for dresses and outfits that aren't real flashy yet are still sexy and comfortable. Blending in is always good. Dressing smart is good as well.

Additionally I have a thing for gothic styles so I'm really all over the place. The way I see it, there's things that accent my body in a feminine way moreso than others. Knowing what looks good on you is a step in the right direction. There's loads of fashion no no's but that's best saved for another thread in itself.

Well, it's weird, but when I lived as a guy, I liked T-shirts and jeans or jean shorts most of the time, and if it was cold, I liked jeans with lots of leather, and Red Wing boots. I also had a nice collection of Hawaiian shirts. Now I wear everything, sweaters, skirts, of all lengths and materials, shear or warming tops, shorts, T-shirts. I don't wear high heels much anymore, they aren't as comfy as they used to feel. It's a bitch, but I dont have as much clothing money now as I did as a guy.And I don't look good in most dresses any more, because of the weight I have gained. Grrrrrrrrr!

I tend to wear mostly black trousers or jeans, not usually anything baggy except for slightly loose cargo pants or the occasional baggy jean. On top  tend to wear tight fitting tshirts and hoodies, sometimes a vest or cardie.

If I go out, I like to be a little more risque and have been know to wear a bandana as a top, denim skirts, basques, body suits/stockingsor even cat suits.

I dont currently have much of a wardrobe, but what I've got I love. My fav jeans are Levis that hug my behind and legs all teh way down and my fav top is the one I wear to go to bed lol.

If I had the choice, I'd probably wear tight blue jeans and tshirts day in and out :P

I have totally been into vintage lately.  I love 60s cocktail dresses, 70s disco dresses,  and 80s formal gowns.  For lingerie I love to wear vintage pegnoirs and baby dolls.   I like retro fashions, because it gives me a sense of romanticism and transports me to another time.  For makeup I prefer older styles as well.  I like the 1940s Hollywood glamour look over the more natural modern look. :)

Mostly wear just above the knee skirts.  Prefer pencil skirts.  Occasionaly a tight mini  but I am 41  so I try to dress the way a 40 yr old woman would.

I think I'm going to go for a kind of Rockabilly Chic look for next year.  That's the goal right now anyways.

Kara, I don't see why you would have to dress
as a 40 year old dress (I'm 40 BTW :-).

First of all, many 40 year
old are overweight, have taken to much sun (damaged skin)
and have children; unless your like that, why imitate
their style? Style depends more on what you
can pull off. If your face looks young, your tall
and your in good shape, you can pull off a lot
wider kinds of style than if your dumpy and frumpy.

Sandra Bullock is over 40 I believe, and she looks great.  Isn't Madonna like in her 50's?  None of them are wearing frumpy clothes.

My "normal" outfit usually consists of a pair of low rise flare jeans, solid color or screenprint capsleeve T-shirt, and almost always something over that.  Now that its cold I'm a bit fan of knitted coats or sweaters.  I try to avoid hoodies and sweatpants.

Shoe wise I wear boots with a 1-2.5" heel, or my pink Harajuku Lover's canvas shoes.

When my hair was a bit shorter I always wore a headband that matched the outfit I was wearing. But now I don't wear headbands that much anymore.

I dress in a modified "Mary Tyler Moore" look.

That sounds very nice.

I like skirts.
Especially mini skirts in the warmer weather.

I like string tops and athletic clothes or jogging shorts.
I am a pretty sporty girl.

kinda quirky too.

I like a nice little cocktail dress for parties and such.

I dance, so I shop at the dance shops a lot.

Oh, I like Minidresses too.

My style is well...mostly what I can afford. Had I more money I'd be in skirts and tops more often! But a lot of tops I find don't appeal to me (good will), and the others I can't afford (too costly...sometimes too outlandish for me).

If I could afford it...and had friends to have fun with doing so, I'd dress in amaloli every day (amaloli is part of lolita fashion and is especially childish looking). I like pastels, white, blue, pink, pretty much all shades of them. I'm not typically after brand names, anything cute works. I got some Hello Kitty socks (6 pairs), maybe 10 pairs of pants and 7 skirts, mostly knee-length ones.

I actually had to buy panties in the girl's section at a store cause the adult small is still way too big (measured by hips), while the girl's ones fit by waist. I got two bras from there too...but don't particularly like them, they were cheap though.

I tend to wear sneakers most of the time, because I haven't found 'pretty shoes' that I like, yet. I will probably never wear high heels, mostly for practical reasons (I consider it torture). I don't mind platform shoes though.

Given the clothes I have and my budget, I tend to wear mostly trousers, sometimes skirts (but not in winter), t-shirts and a vest or two. They're typically tight and hip-huggers with flaring bottoms, if I managed to find one that fit good enough.

I use make-up when I feel like it. I don't do eyes makeup, I think it makes me look weird. I use foundation, blusher and mascara (arguably eye makeup but not showing as much) which gives a rather natural-looking make-up. Sometimes I forego it entirely. I don't 'need' make-up, I just like the effect.

I like colour. The brighter, the better. Rainbows. Stars.
Baggy t-shirts (at the moment), hoodies, tights/ fishnets combined with shorts mostly.
High heels if the weather's good. Trainers if it's bad. Fluffy, soft things. UV bracelets.
That's about it. I focus on my hair more. Meh.

I like Capri's, mid length mini skirts, Tee shirts and sweaters and and blouses with the princess type sleeves. But if it's feminine it's for me.
