Well, if you have straight hair, the second pic you posted isn't an option (guys don't curl their hair, you can't do it and have it look the same as natural curls). The first might be fine, but it's impossible to tell without actually seeing you in real life. Go to a good gay stylist and do a cut/color consult. (Don't skimp - if you really want to look good, it's worth the money.)
The thing is, with being a gay guy, that copying someone else's look doesn't work - what gay guys are most attracted to is guys who know themselves, their own bodies, looks, and personalities, and how to take care of them and present them well. If you're going to be a gay guy (or pretend to be, I don't know what your gender situation is) then that's what you need to focus on: knowing and taking care of yourself.
Just for the record, we really don't care about hair, per se. Never met a gay guy who was turned on by hair. We like the way a guy's hairstyle works with the rest of his look - how it frames his particular facial features, how it highlights the cute little imperfections like a cowlick or a dimple. You need a good stylist to get it just right
