Are you still able to have an orgasam?

If you are not on T is your sex drive still good/normal?

I can't seem to find the answers anywhere online and most the answers I do get are the female orentated ones.

I had a hysto within a month of starting T.  The hysto changed nothing about my orgasms at all.  Mentally I felt 1000x better having those disgusting parts gone.

I know some women personally who were also very happy to have a hysto, and it didn't seem to impact their sex life.  Yeah, most sites suck with info about what it's like post-op, mainly because I think a lot of women do NOT want to lose those parts, so there is a sense of loss for them.

I had a hysto just 7 weeks ago...
Had cerviz, uterus and ovaries pulled out.

Orgasms are still working fine.. in fact.. well.. I had a bit of a hard time waiting 'till healed up enough before getting off.
I've complained about the lack of libido for weeks.. and it's back now...

I'm on T though, so that's a factor.
They don't take the ovaries unless you're on hormones or have another reason to get rid of 'em.

How can you get one? My doc said I have to wait untill I am 28 (I just turned 21) and I don't want to suffer any longer (I get terrible pain to the point where I hurl and pass out yet any doc I tell does not seem to want to give me any referrals because 'I might want to have kids')

I just want to be free of this stupid ->-bleeped-<-ing thing.

I don't know the rules elsewheres, but I just asked for one and the doc went "yeah alright"

WHICH WAS AWESOME!

I always wonder about that too. It feels like the uterus or something in there plays a part in my orgasms but I don't know how scientific that is.

My partner had a complete hyst. in late July, so a little over 4 months ago.  Libido, orgasms, etc are all back to normal.  His urinary stuff took about a week to straighten back out (frequency, etc.).  Mental effects were the most adverse for him.  He is still a little spacy at times, and has episodes of feeling "not like himself".  Honestly it was a little scary for both of us at first, but he is slowly but surely getting his energy back, and feeling more like himself every day.  Having a support system is super important.

I asked a similar question on a similar thread. Didn't get many replies. I think a lot of guys here haven't had hysto.

Yeah I assume most guys who are on T get their periods to stop, T is not an option for me at this point in time so I just want a hysto so that I can have peace of mind. (plus when I get bye-week as I like to call it my cramps are INSANELY painful. I pass out and vomit from them and I am pretty tough when it comes to pain normally.)  Is it possible to get the hysto first?

I try to look for info on it and there really isn't much. Most of it is for women who want to keep it and whatnot. Thats great for them but for us guys its not the same.

Complete hysto (check ticker) that long ago. Orgasm is fine. I got  mine due to painful and extended periods.  Endometriosis being the likely culprit.

guys I having my hysto early next year, just another question for those that have had one - is it true that the T works better and quicker once all your girl junk is out and not fighting against it?
