Lately I've been getting up the courage to come out to more and more family. So far its all been positive. I just told 2 of my closest cousins, and they said they want what is best for me and support me all the way and will always love me. It was just the greatest feeling and more relief since family is so important to me. I understand that explaining my situation and telling them that I decided to transition are two different things, so that might be the only hard thing with the rest of my family, idk.

Basically, other than me wanting to share my experience, I just wanted to hopefully encourage others to come out to their family who haven't all ready. Its such a relief and big motivator when you have family support. It might seem like one of the hardest things to do, but at least you have a 50% chance of it going well vs none. I think its even helped with the depression and anger I've built up all these years. Its just a refreshing feeling and I hope good outcomes for everyone
